  • New year and new surprises with Swagb(s)ucks. Looks like they reduced the point value.

Only for the smallest 2 on Paypal, looks like all the rest and other vouchers are unchanged
  • Like how they always used to infer that the £5 for 500 points was a 'sale'.......so I expected this at some point.

If I earned enough to use the larger vouchers more regularly they're obviously better value, not sure I can be bothered waiting though.

The other problem with saving up for larger vouchers is Swagbucks' habit of suddenly terminating a user's account, and confiscating whatever credit they had built up.

Before the last price drops Paypal always used to cost more SB per £ than nearly all the other vouchers so I have never used them - hopefully this will not be the start of increasing them all (MSE guidance is not to accumulate rewards on any survey site as there is little/no protection if you don't get paid)
  • Yes, had 500 SB and wanted to pay out. Will collect until the 625 SB, pay out and won't bother any more. Too little for the time invested. When people stop using them in large numbers they might rethink.

Unlikely - they have been cutting back on earning opportunities and payouts for years, and they still get enough new recruits to balance out those who leave.

Same here. Started to do less over Christmas and had my account suspended briefly so I think I’ll cash in and leave it after then unless there’s an improvement.
  • Last month I started getting a bit more success with the real slow burning survey sites - Branded Surveys, Ipsosisay, Curious Cat etc.

I still think Swagbucks will produce the most for me but its far more evenly split now and will be all the more so following this 'reduction'.

Noticed the search was back to 4sb yesterday too.
