Having said that, didn't feel too rough when I got myself together.

Puzzled with Broadband . The router has internet light flashing . I did test my Apple TV box 🍏 which,is connected to my tv 📺 It seems to work , and I watched some cat tv this morning 🐈‍⬛🕊.
Ive been using the mobile as a hotspot or whatever and that seems to be doing well in the circumstances.
I'm supposed to have a live video session with mr trainer 🏋️‍♂️today, so if that works maybe it's fixed .

Sun is shining , but it is cold 🌞🥶 should be seeing local friend for coffee☕️ tomorrow

    I'll leave it there ..🌞

  • Hi AC I'm a long time follower, but don't comment often. You're fairly local to me (I'm in Bournemouth). Are you a Karaoke fan? Our local groups all tend to be really friendly, so if you are looking for something new to try head to the Hop Inn on the West Cliff, their Karaoke is a Friday (I thinkg) and has a solid following (i.e. you will see the same people each time). Some fab singers and you can probably bus fairly easily. Also the Nelson on Poole Quay have regular bands / Karaoke events and many of the regulars attend both. Cheers V :)
  • Hello @vampirotoothus 😼
Thanks for following and for popping by.
I've been to the nelson a lot. Always packed Weekends.
I'm too shy to try karaoke , but it is a laugh.
I'll mention the Hop Inn  to my local friend , and see what gives.
Thanks very much for the suggestions and very nice post..

Good to see you out and about.

The Nelson sounds good. Maybe you could play there yourself one day. In your first diary you said you might when you get settled?

Cutting down on bread and carbs food like crisps is a nightmare. I get cravings for those foods sometimes too...

I think my band days are over tbh 🎶. I think my body would be too tired  in the evenings etc. Probably why I'm playing synths and trying to record stuff at my own leisure.
When I was doing the band thing it was a case of learning the stuff at home / rehearse with band members/ do gigs etc. With the bass it was more plug and play , with the odd effects pedal if / when needed. With recording stuff it is more fiddly and computer based and more technical etc . The last band I was in although Greater London based , we did enquire as to could we play the Nelson a good few years ago. They were fully booked for weeks and as we couldn't step in for cancellations we couldn't do it unfortunately.

Having said the above , I just watched a documentary about David Crosby ( Crosby stills Nash / Neil young ). Or was it Crosby stole my stash 😺
He's still out there  doing his business .

I know you have the cravings like myself @doingitanyway. Your diet ( a 4 letter word to me ) is way better than mine .

    I'll leave it there ..😼

Just checked  the tariffs on my energy bills , and looked at the estimates when they expire in July . My gas at present is £21 pm direct debit . New estimated price £41 pm
Electric present £57pm . New estimate £101 pm .  Something to take on the chin I guess 🥊🥊

As I was checking this I heard a conversation in the communal area . What was going on , was the undesireable upstairs has had a smart meter fitted . Plus something to do with the gas meter also . Worse to come potentially, as she was telling the installer that she is pregnant ! 🍼The noises I was hearing at bedtime  for a couple of weeks intermittently must have been them installing a cot etc . The plus side of things regarding those 2 is that they have bern quiet and I haven't seen the bloke around for a few weeks. I think they have moved their bed around to the other end of the room to accommodate baby druggy. The joys of wooden flooring !
Where they place the pram in the communal area is something I have to watch out for, as if they put it in the wrong place it affects my building and contents insurance .
In theory the parties should not resume . They did stop some time ago in fairness to them .
One final thing to mention on this subject is that there should be an AGM and if there are issues to raise , I may do regarding wooden flooring and keeping communal area free of prams etc . We'll see

I received 🥖today along with other stuff from haterose 🛒. This weather has been making me  more hungry it has to be said . Is it just me ? 🤫

I did another short solo workout today 🏋️‍♂️🥵 plus walk🐾. The rain got a little heavy 5 mins from home 💧
I have a live session with mr trainer tomorrow 🏋️‍♂️

I will look at light switches tomorrow ( bathroom ) as the problem has returned .💡🔦

    I'll leave it there ..☁️💧😼

Check your lease.  Most prevent the use of wooden flooring In flats, some permit it but only with sound deadening fitting.  Obviously the lease should also prevent items being left in communal areas.  The lease should be the same for the upper flat
