A messy , annyoyimg and costly few days. Not too dramatic..
The headphones I purchased were not for me . I arranged return . Amazon use Hermes . They don't give timescale . Would you believe I missed them when I went back to collect teeth by about 2 or 3 mins ?!🦷🦷. Nothing on note , but I know when I left and returned.
Today is really sunny 🌞. Of course if I do go out, I will miss them . Sod's law!
I've ordered a different pair which should be here this evening .

Yesterday there was a leak under bathroom sink 🚰. I had to disassemble and am waiting for new drain and other bits to hopefully fix either this evening or tomorrow . 

As well as being a pita I was feeling unwell going backwards and forwards on my knees etc. Hopefully it'll be sorted 🤞

Saturday was my day off of exercise 🏋️‍♂️🥵. Couldn't do yesterday . I was very stiff around hips  and back on Saturday anyway . Feeling a bit bruised ( like when a bruise is healing ) and did stretch exercise on programme this morning . 

Yesterday was wet and windy 💨💧🌧. Apparently it will be same tomorrow .

Still haven't gone into overdraft ..yet 🤞. Smallish credit card balance 💳
This will be cleared this year anyway . 

The lights in my bathroom 💡are soon to be replaced unfortunately . 
Then the hallway no doubt, but one step at a time . 🪜I have funds to cover I think .

Still going through my 2's and 3's regarding things going wrong . 

The bathroom sink annoyance continues 🚰. I purchased new tubing which arrived today.
It feels better than the previous one , but there is still a leak .
Being on my back and knees more than Katie price is affecting me so my friend is coming over Fri/ sat 😬. My tendons were shot and my body painful .I have just purchased some plumbers p v e tape which should get everything finally sorted 🤞. 

There is a cloud ..and a silver lining 🌈☁️ Regarding the 2's and 3's . The lights in :y bathroom could pack up at anytime , and I'll contact electrician again in the next few days 💡⚡️. That's the cloud ! Silver lining is that I unexpectedly received a payment of £327.18 from my energy supplier regarding my electric bill . ⚡️

Had a great session with mr trainer yesterday 🏋️‍♂️🥵. I'm supposed to have a solo one today but feel under par ⛳️🏌️‍♀️ Due to sleep patterns and tiredness with trying to fix bathroom sink 🚰. I did manage to get out for a brief walk 🐾for the first time since Friday 

New headphones are good ! Had to reschedule another collection for the others to be returned ! Should be tomorrow . 

While I was attempting to fix the sink 🚰 I received a scam call . The second word used by myself was off ! 📞🤬 number blocked . 

Just received a text from universal credit . Appointment changed from morning to afternoon on 2nd March . I was hoping for a minute that it would be cancelled for a month
Looks like it will be in the jobcentre .  A bridge I'll cross when I get to it 🌁

Very windy here 💨💨🍃. Amber alert 🚦..
After being stuck in yesterday regarding deliveries etc, I had to go out for my usual walk🐾
Trees seem fine for now 🌳🌲🤞 . One or two horizontal bins on pavements due to obvious cancellation this week .  The worst of the weather is supposed to be early - mid afternoon 🌊☔️⛈
I don't think this storm will be as bad as storm Angus when I moved here in 2016 .
That was my welcome to the coast 🌊

Sleeping patterns still patchy🛏. Having said that , I managed to forced myself to do exercise yesterday 🥵🏋️‍♂️. Don't know if I'll bother today . 

I've found a very therapeutic start to my mornings lately ..by watching cat tv !🐈‍⬛

I have my Apple TV box which has you tube on it and after watching fishes and aquariums on it , this recommendation popped up. It hasn't cats🐈‍⬛, but birds 🕊🦤and squirrels 🐿eating food in America 🇺🇸 . Apparently , if you have a cat🐈‍⬛ , it will watch it . 

I've never watched mainstream breakfast tv anyway 🍳🧇📺. I need help.

I'm going to bite the bullet and send a text to the electrician on Monday ⚡️

It's just a matter of time before the bathroom lights pack up ( there are 3) .
I have 4 in the hallway . I've been lucky in the 4+ years where only one led light 💡fitting packed up . The electrician updated the ones in the kitchen in November .
There were 6 . Seems best to have the others updated and hopefully they'll last a few years again .

Cat TV? First I thought you are joking but the again, it makes sense in a weird way...

Lightbulbs used to be simple and now I find them very complicated.

The walks are important. I feel a bit stir crazy if I don't get out...I spoke to my cousin who told me I have a step tracker on my phone. Going to get it set up the weekend so I can begin to monitor my steps.

Hello @another_casualty, I haven't read all of your diary (I'm another one who is equally content to be in lively company or in solitude), but I have picked up that you have myasthenia gravis. My Mum had it. I can remember the odd symptoms & circumstances of her diagnosis as though it was yesterday. A strange illness, & few people know of it. I lost my Mum nearly 4 years ago. Her death was not related to her myasthenia, but because of her MG drug regime, I was asked lots of questions by the hospital staff, most of whom had never nursed anyone with the condition. So really I was dropping by to say that I know it can make sufferers feel tired, achey & generally peculiar. It sounds as though you are doing really well to commit to exercising. Mum usually had alternate good & weaker days. It's definitely a condition which needs managing on several fronts, isnt it?

sorry to hear about your mum .
Thanks for your lovely post also.

Myasthenia gravis is what I call a hidden illness once you get over the initial shock /trauma . 

There are various forms , and although incurable can be managed into an almost remission state as it were.

Pretty much all of the symptoms are motor neurone and auto immune . 

It’s a condition which is more common in people in their60/70s. I inherited it a few years earlier than that .
it’s related to neurons in the brain .

Mine is ocular . I had stroke like symptoms . 

Now the speech ( drunk sounding / stammering when tired) and droopy left eye when tired. And of course the various joint pain and breathlessness.
No two days are alike .

Drugs do work, but prednisone is evil and thankfully I don’t need that anymore.Hard battle won! 

Light exercise and plenty of rest is the way to keep in control. 

It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who doesn’t mind the solitary lifestyle as and when .

Weird few days !
I am currently sprawled out on my reclining armchair 💺 waking up from a much needed sleep😴 💤 
Message from mr trainer 🏋️‍♂️asking to reschedule tomorrow’s session to Thursday. That’s fine as I have no broadband and cannot follow his video workouts.  ( maybe a lame excuse but I’ve been rough 🐕)

Yesterday I finally fixed the issue with bathroom sink🚰
The band I was looking for was in the wrong place and no instructions 😡
Feeling rather dopey but it’s done now.

Had a walk to post office to return Amazon package . I chose to wear mask 😷as lady behind counter had one . People in queue didn’t , Nice lady but mask 😷 takes away humour and irony at times .

Felt rough for few days . That rest I mentioned earlier paid off £

I dismantled one big kitchen bin partly.

I will get Stanley knife and finish job during week and possibly get replacement during week , another bin 🗑 has to be dismantled also

Bread 🥖 eating out of ✋, so will cut down ..possibly! Crisp purge again ! Now stopped . I still need to get frozen chicken 🐔 from freezer. This week will be when I do. 

Storm ⛈ Eunice gone . Only issue now is broadband. It packed up around 5pm and came back on around 9am.
When I got back from post office 📮it packed up again . Worse things in life I guess. 

Typing 💬 this on my phone 📱

Broadband will be unavailable possibly for a few days . 🙀
Its very rare to give 10/10 in feedback but I’m now on unlimited data for 30 days and will be compensated also. 

It means that I’ll have to use my 📱 as replacement for Apple TV  🍏 📺 although I’ll be mirroring the signal on to it . 

One or 2 apps don’t work on 4g so there is that .

Reading the last few posts I am reminded of how hard you fought to come off prednisone...

I am also fond of my own company...(there are a few of us about  ) but I love being a bit social too...

You seem to have found a work around re BB
