Thanks mrs p 😼. When I moved here there was a family there, and apparently the owners were in 2 minds whether to sell or let it out . One couple with a baby were there for a few months. Then the last tenants were a family of 4 or 5 . Bicycles everywhere .🤞as you say that whoever is there will be ok. Only 7 converted flats . 3 are owned by us to live in them . Apart from the usual shenanigans ( young party /self entitled) , the main issue I have potentially is my designated numbered parking space ( I don't drive) and keeping communal area tidy. No prams etc due to my insurance / fire etc 🔥should anything go wrong..
So back to the national careers ; I was dozing off on my recliner and I receive a phone call from the adviser. He tells me that I have to complete a maths and English test by 4PM to secure place for Monday . That's not on ( 40 mins to grt ready and take) and the tests will be taken when I receive email.
The course has of course, been put back till the following Monday should I pass the maths/ English tests .Ontop of this , I received a text from adviser who wants me to complete the questionnaire about how he did . I may do that shortly .I then receive a call from Job skilla ( that's right . Not job skills) .I have just received an email from somebody regarding those tests I mentioned as I type this .The joys of universal credit 😾🤬🤐
I'll leave it there ...😼2 -

Hello AC. What's that with calling you to do a test that expired in 40 minutes. Good to hear you got it put off for a week.
Things sound like they're going ok. Hopefully you won't get too much noise when the new addition arrives.
Well done on keeping up with all the exercise. Hopefully this nicer weather will mean more nice walks out too.

Thanks @MuffinTops @doingitanyway😼
I think the situation regarding the rush into get me to complete test in short time , is just them not thinking , ticking boxes and trying to fill in slots at the earliest opportunities rather than give me time to accept a new ' action plan' which tbh is a waste of time .
Bearing in mind, I had an 'action plan ' with seetech plus which ended up me being relegated and then due to their time agenda ( plus 😷) resulted in my case being closed and being handed back to job centre .I ended up taking the tests on my iPad yesterday . As this stuff is all windows based 🪟I didn't expect it to work . Having said that , the power decided to reduce which made the screen buggy and I missed a few questions initially . When I was charging iPad I went over questions I missed.
Anyway, English 12/15 ( should have been 13🤦) Maths 8/15 ( Metric stuff and I was surprised I got that much) IT screening test 13/15( 👍)
I had to send email to an 'office coordinator' who sent a fairly , standard email advising me to notify her /it/him when test was completed . I did that . Kind regards ? No!I was going to add these shenanigans in the journal, but think the best thing to do is have all this prepared when I see job coach in June . Keep cool, calm and carry on I guess..
I had to get up early due to nocado delivery 🛒. Great service as usual . For the first time probably ever, I ordered no bread 🥖. This is because I still have some 😬
Still, no crisps were ordered ( love s&m crisps !)
I Was going to go out for walk today 🐾, but I forgot that the washer dryer is on 🤦
Since 😷imho , I believe I have been getting short term memory symptoms .One other thing to note , is that my stomach problem since jab 4 🥊 seems to have disappeared 🤞. I do say those jabs have a lot to answer for . Your views may vary🤬
As for the exercise , I'm hoping mr trainer🏋️♂️ is not pulling ( or trying to pull over my eyes)
As he now has 2 Jobs , he may be giving excuses( his wife's driving test🚗) just like builders do when mixing jobs.👷♂️
Hope I'm overthinking and we'll carry on . He is very important to me, and we know how far he has got me . Still , I'm laid back and I'll accommodate around his schedule as always.
Today was grey , tomorrow ...heavy rain ☔️💧💧🌧
I'll leave it there ...🌥2 -
Strange time at the moment ...
On Friday it was raining heavy as expected 💧🌧. However , I felt motivated and did a lot of tidying up in the flat . The home office / musicroom is the tidiest it has been . Only one issue is if I should get rid of sideboard and have a desk or trestle in its place . The main computer desk is great , but with the gadgets I am running out of places to put things apart from the obvious .Traiining is patchy at the moment . Lacking motivation at times , but that shouldn't last.
Mr trainer 🏋️♂️sent text for live session on weds morning . I agreed of course . The next day, I checked and found I have an appointment with my new designated doctor 🩺
So session tomorrow instead .
I hadn't been out of the flat for 4 days 🙀,but went for walk this morning 🐾
I'll be out for a walk 🐾most of the week . I may even catch-up,with local friend for coffee ☕️I'm sticking with the same home insurance contents co.Last years premium £152.34 ..this years quote ; £128.82 . It's gone down for some reason
I did live chat yesterday , to confirm there wasn't a mistake . Price includes Family legal protection , accidental damage and emergency call-out .I'm still mulling over the action plan scenario of last Monday . I was told by job coach that it was just a call from national careers to give me help and advice for my cv , and not another action plan . The trouble with myself is that I'm so used to saying yes to everything that , I shouldn't have volunteered for the course next week . I have a feeling I'll struggle with 10-4 five days a week . If I fail , so what . I've spent years worrying about one thing or another and all I can do now is keep level headed and proceed the best I can speaking up when I have to , hoping that nothing gets stopped .
Forgot to mention boiler pressure . Last week I put pressure up too high , the last couple of days dial dropped to just below 1.5 . Just as well I have service next month .
I'll leave it there...🌥3 -
Good insurance deal.
Cant you tell them you have been too optimistic and you can't actually manage 10-4 five days a week?
Glad you got out for a walk todayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks @doingitanyway😼
one thing about the time for insurance renewal is the amount of vultures who contact me by post and email. As for the course , I think I may have an idea ..

Just as I'm getting ready cooking breakfast 🍳☕️, mr trainer 🏋️♂️sends text 💬asking to change todays session to Thursday . Not really a problem although I was going to send text to local friend for meet-up Thurs / fri. I'll send text asking about Friday and see what gives .I did do exercise ( harder workout ) yesterday , and will do easier workout later on today 🥵. The momentum not lost for long .
I finally managed to get my hair cut this morning ✂️. It was getting very long . In fact I think the same lady cut it from a long state back in September !Thankfully I still have quite a lot of hair at my age . I did make sure to ask the nice lady to avoid me having a Bobby Charlton . 😬 I must admit I didn't know that the buzzer goes to number 8 . I'm used to going for 3 or 4 but decided on a tidy up rather than looking like buster blood vessel or Matt Lucas .The rest of the day seems straightforward enough , but am feeling groggy and tired already .
Nice and sunny 🌞.Rain tomorrow 💧🌧
I'll leave it there ...🌤4 -
A good albeit, wet day ☔️💧☔️💧🌧
First bit of good news ..council tax bill is £0.00 !Second bit of good news was regarding my appointment with dr 🩺
Actually it wasn't with the dr as I was told, but with the head nurse 🧑⚕️It was a chat about my lifestyle really ( how much do I drink , do I exercise , my diet etc )
Blood pressure fine . She seemed happy with the exercise routine etc .
The biggest plus for me was when I got weighed . I expected the scales to collapse but when weight was conveted to stones i find my weight just a tad over 19 stone.
Being 5'11 and the fact that I have lots of muscle etc I am happy with that .Bear in mind 🐻❄️ I was 25 stone when mr trainer first weighed me 🙀. That was a mixture of the dreaded prednisolone and not having a proper pattern at the time . Something like that . The nurse was happy enough , so so am I .My best weight in my later years ( 40's) was back in the early 2000's when I lost 4 stone in a year thanks to the previous trainer . Plus I was more active basically then now .
Then I went from the weight I am now ..to 15 st . A lot of people put on a bit initially after such a dramatic weight loss , so that is food for thought 🍟🍔
The odd thing I did Though was getting the drs name wrong when I announced myself 🤦
How did I do that ? I blame the jabs 🥊🥊
The other bit of good news is that I didn't get soaked despite the relentless downpour ☔️☔️💧
The only annoying thing was that my jeans decided to try to fall to my ankles !🦶
It was a pain going back up that hill with the brolly as well ☔️Will be seeing local friend on Friday .
I'll leave it there ..💧😼4 -
Great news about the council tax and also great news from the nurse as well. Your dedication has clearly paid off."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2
