I absolutely get this toomoving_forward said:I for one already am because it's giving me something to do mid month instead of spend as I like fiddling with budgets.
Paying CC over mortgage, I don't think there is a right or wrong as it will depends on how you tick, there is a better one obviously (the mortgage). It's what works for us individually. I cleared the CC's then the mortgage yet still added the OP's to mortgage before I used my pension to pay it off. We only saved about £600 by doing it 2 years early but the relief of it having gone and working part time now has improved my wellbeing for sure. I wish that for all of you.

@WinterWarrior what's a sleekster?
50p added to my TT pot yesterday as I made an online purchase of £3.50 (1921 census page) and my Monzo account automatically rounds up to the nearest £.

Do you have a banking app on your phone. It is much easier and quicker moving bits this way. I am old and a technophobe but love the banking apps, it really does make things very easy to do.moving_forward said:I do like found numbers and find one debt payment irritating because it's odd but the only way to over pay is to send bank transfer. As it's 0% I tend not to bother as it was a faff when I did it once. I may end up snowballing it first as even at 0% it bugs me to be paying it.

Oh this made my day 🤣 January is such a cruel month! The longest….even if it isn’t numerically it certainly seems it!WinterWarrior said:Today I have tillied £5 to the mortgage (collected £1 back from my save the pennies so I could round it up) and £5 to Christmas 22. I really hope I survive the next 300 weeks of January.

This looks like a nice way for me to tidy while I’m trying my best with the cash envelopes…it’s a great idea, even if it ends up being just the cc direct debits. I was actually paid on the 7th of Jan, however…..I am paid 4 weekly and have to keep it untouched until oh is paid then it goes towards the new bills cycle. I never actually feel the benefits of that 13th pay packet, it just sort of rolls in to a new billing month 😬MoneysavingmadGem said:
When I make cc payments I always round up to a 0 at the end on payment thats after putting in change to make the cc 00 ending!Naomim said:I know some people love to see a lovely round 0 on the end of balances. It's not something I get hung up about but am starting to see the pleasure in it.😊

They tell you a rough idea on the website but I've never had one we didn't like.
Not the cheapest choc but oh so worth it as you don't tend to eat as many at once as they taste so divine.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

You can see every chocolate in each box if you expand the menu by clicking show more. I actually find some of the dark ones too dark, but the white, light and caramel ones more than make up for the dark chocolate disappointment.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
