I think this heat is getting to all of us. The best bit of my day yesterday was using flexi to finish early!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Today was a better day!
The same cannot be said for my finances, however 🤦♀️ My week's grocery shopping at the weekend came in at almost what I had budgeted for the rest of the month (and that was after deducting £5-worth of Nectar points. Not really down to price increases - I'd just run out of a lot of things all at once). I've also booked a hotel for the night of our Christmas party as the price had dropped (thought I'd keep a weekly eye on it), but I had to pay by debit card as my credit card will have expired by then, so had to pinch it out of savings. AND I've ordered some new running gear, as Adidas had a massive sale on (which annoyingly seems to be getting delivered one item at a time - I honestly wouldn't mind waiting a couple of extra days for them to collate the items, there's no rush 🤦♀️!), so that could cost me a bit too. Current position before I try anything on is
-£43.47, which includes £5 I received from Vypr earlier. I've requested £10 from Panelbase, but not sure I'll manage to recover the rest 🤔
However, I'm not going to beat myself up about it this time (no Qmee - unless I get very, very close 🤣!). Locking in lower prices for things I definitely need has got to be worth a bit of short-term pain 👍Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
