Getting FIREd up 😀

I also regularly get "spend £xx, get triple Nectar points" offers, either through the app or scanning discarded till spits. Still, the defining factor for me is that a week's groceries at Sainsbury's for a family of 4 is £££ and you still didn't even get everything you needed!

Failed miserably with Sainsbury's this year, but that could be because I have only been in once since the challenge started.Mortgage Free November 2018

I obviously need to raise my game (although I think I prefer Staffordia's example 😀)! I've got a double points on fuel that I'll use tomorrow which will complete target 4/5, but the final one will have to remain un-attempted!

I completed it accidentally last week - mine was only 5x 'earn 100 points' (and get 300 points each time) - I did it in 2 small shops but with buying virtually only items with extra points. I don't often go to Sains nowadays- Tesc0, Azda, Liddle and Alldee are all much closet (and usually cheaper)
I do have £135 of Nectar points to spend, though...I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £204 -
Whhaaaaat....? Mine was 5x earn 400 points and earn 300 points each time!!! I am blaming this on my Mother, I take her shopping but she doesn't have her own Nectar card, as "It's too much hassle" (I give her the cash for the bonus points offers). Consequently, most of my bonus offers (and January top 3 items!!!) are for things I don't actually buy - and she is impossible to cajole into buying things which aren't on her list, but do have bonus points available 🤦♀️!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

My offer was very similar to yours SC. I do miss the decent Sainsbo's Christmas offers from back in the day, fond memories of buying a lovely enamelled cast iron casserole (50% off, double value Nectar points) for basically £6-7.4

@South_coast could you set up and manage a separate nectar account for your Mum and only have your purchases attached to yours?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Wow, your requirements were so high compared to ours! We just had to earn 50 for each stage, getting the extra 300 each time - we just hit the fifth one today (by buying a bag of potatoes that got us 90 bonus points - wild!).3

😱🤯! Not fair!
BB, that would be far too easy! She would never think to activate the extra points offers/Your Nectar Prices etc, and it would pain me!* She enjoys the discounts, but doesn't want the "faff" of getting there. I had to apply for a Morrisons card for the same reason, and we also share Lidl Plus (although this does actually mean we stand a chance of getting the monthly free stuff/10% off 😀)!
* In her defence, I don't buy very much from there, so my tailored offers would still probably be pretty generic. I well remember being issued with coupon after coupon for tampons several years ago - God knows how many they thought I needed 🤷♀️🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I completed it but like you had to get 400 points each time. One thing I do like with nectar is that the weekly offers you get are mostly products I regularly buy. I’ve moved over to doing my weekly shopping there since the summer so found it quite easy this year.Re pinecone I get £3 per survey. I never knew they gave out different amounts and like others say I request a cash payout into my PayPal. You’ve just reminded me I’ve got £3 sitting there to cash out. It’s a right faff though.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
