First of the month round-up....

Movement during January 2022: -£832.53
Money needed as at 1 February 2022: £272,243.75

Very disappointing! I've put 63% of my income into savings, plus corrected a mistake I made with last month's figures (which should have resulted in a change in my favour), but both are totally overshadowed by the fall in the stock market 😓 Ah well, completely out of my hands, so no point thinking too much about it!

I am happy to admit to having watched every episode of Midsomer Murders 😂 I still have it recording on our tv so I can watch one when I feel like some silly comfort tv. Not sure what that says about me really…

I feel you - I reconcile our investment accounts and pension pots on YNAB once a month, and the end of January reconciliation was definitely a bit of a blow. We don't even have that much invested atm, so seeing thousands just disappear wasn't all that fun Ah well, it's usually a movement in the other direction x

Indeed! I'm happy enough to take the gains, I should be prepared to accept the losses!
