I'll almost be glad to go back to drinking for the sole reason that I will have something to blame these strange dreams on. I am seriously weirded out 🤷‍♀️!

I am giving serious consideration to changing my bank account once the Edge saver bonus ends in May. After 11(?) years together, it feels like Santander and I have reached the end of the road....

Monzo is looking favourite at the moment, does anyone here use it? I can't quite work out from their website how the pots work - are they separate accounts that you give a name to (this is what I do now), or is it all in your current account and you just earmark certain amounts of money for certain purposes? If the latter, what happens when you spend money, do you go into the app and tell it which pot to take it from? And if you pay a credit card via their own app, does it ask you which pot you want to take it from?

Another one I like to do is mingle. Has its own app so easy to monitor, you get a couple of points when you're not the right criteria for some surveys which is nice and they have a choice of bank transfer or vouchers 🙂
LOL, Jessy also mentioned Mingle on my diary 🤦‍♀️! I completely missed that, as I was too busy moaning about adulting yesterday. Sorry lovely 😘!
Haha no worries! Hope mingle isn't as frustrating as some of the others for you 🙂
Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.
Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000.
Aiming to be mortgage free by my 40th birthday, June 2026!

I have zopa which allows you to create different pots in the app and you can lock them (or not) for different fixed times for higher interest rates. I love it

OK, interesting. I've not heard of them for current accounts before. In my head, I thought they were a peer-to-peer lender 🤔? Will do some research!
