I'm cool with savings, that will all be going into my Chip ISA once the new tax year starts. I just want somewhere to park my everyday money. There's never enough to earn any interest, so not really fussed about rates. Thanks for thinking of me though!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

i love my Monzo accountYou can easily set up and make pots (so I used to use them before YNAB to send the months clothing or grocery budget to)You can easily send money back and forth from the main acct and your pots
you can lock your pots which just delays getting cash out from each so I never bother
You also get a savings acct which pays monthly 3.6% - this is on the free Monzo - so I now dump my monthly budgeted money in there and move out as I need as I use YNAB so easy to track what the money is for
it is also fantastic for travelling as you immediately get a text on the forex of the purchase it plus they do great rates
There is the 1p saving challenge as well if you start by 31 Jan with a £10k prize (again I only do the free acct)
i have a link where we both get £10 I will dm you - feel free to ignoreDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Ooh, thanks for the detailed response! Is there an expiry on the link? I wasn't planning on changing anything for a couple of months, as I'm still getting the bonus rate on my linked savings account, but as the next few months of that is probably going to tip me over the PSA I may bite the bullet sooner (although ideally only cut it a month or two short!)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Wooo, came home to a pack of dishwasher tablets on my doorstep for a product test I'd forgotten about! No idea what the incentive was/is - but yay, free dishwasher tablets 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I’ve got a washing capsule product test ongoing and they smell amazing. I wish I knew what it was as they are worth it for the scent alone in my utility room. 😂DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I shall be sure to sniff my dishwasher once it's finished 🤣! No idea what these are, they look very space-age. The only thing I can say for certain is that they are not my usual W5 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well my neighbours certainly don't go in for Dry January. Just took some glass recycling out (mixed herbs, before anyone asks - I did manage the whole month!) and the wheelie bin is half-full. I'm sure it only got emptied yesterday 🤔 A lot of empty vodka bottles!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
