Hmmm, I think I've counted the same £1900 twice 🤔🤦♀️ It did seem like I was getting a lot out of £8k when I typed it all out the other day! Oh well, I'll find out in a couple of days!South_coast said:The current plan is:
4. Also use whatever's left over (should be about £1900, if my maths is correct) to pay down the April 25 card (currently at 70% of the limit)
On the plus side, clearing the Barclaycard in full from the maturing ISA means I don't have to make a minimum payment to that this month, so there will be an extra £34 in the £1k/month pot to go towards the S&S 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Have just worked it out again and I think there will be about £40 to go towards the April 25 card. Not quite £1900, but better than nothing at all!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Personally I’d pay off the March 25 card and as much as I can off the April 25 card, it doesn’t make sense to pay anything off the cards that are on 0% until 2026?South_coast said:Current balances:
£3,471.71 due March 25
£10,580.75 due April 25
£12,163.12 due July 25

£10,038.60 due March 26
So it's this spring/summer which is the real pinch point. Once I'm past that, I will feel a lot more relaxed 🤞The usage is based on overall usage, so i.e You have 60k of available credit overall and are using 90% of itMFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Well I did think that myself, but I'm already at 71% utilisation (I have another card with a £6k limit which has a zero balance), but still nothing new being offered, so I'm just playing it super-cautious. Plus it will make them more manageable amounts when they do expire (and free up more money from minimum payments in the meantime that I can use for investing, which is what I really want to be using the money for)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

First of the year round-up:
Pensions: +£14,905.04
ISA: +£4,201.55
LISA: +£6,349.72
"The other thing": +£3,000
Owed on 0% credit (net): +£33,070.98 😱
Total: -£4,614.67 😯😯😯
I am genuinely totally staggered (and very, very pleased) with this result. After having spent almost £50k on the refurb (and still one or two minor things to finish off), I really thought I would be in huge minus numbers for the year. Pensions have definitely come to my rescue (making up for their extremely poor showing in 2022, when they were -£4,434 on the year)! Thank you, stock market!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
