Oh, so THAT'S the one I keep getting screened out of when asked what beverages I drink regularly 🤣! I don't drink tea or coffee, so knew it must be one of those!

Sitting in my lounge this morning and thinking I should probably also replace my year 2000 stereo for something like a soundbar. I feel sad, as there's nothing wrong with it and we've travelled a long road together over the last 24 years (that's more than half my life!), but I've not used the CD player or tape deck in years and never listen to the radio, so only use it to bluetooth my phone to - which I had to buy a separate adaptor for, that is plugged in to the front of it and then needs charging when the battery gets low. It's also quite bulky and adds a bit of a student-y vibe (although that might just be my perception because I had it when I was a student 🤣!) So it looks like that's another decision to make 🙁

Perhaps DFS have improved, but they certainly used to be known for sofas that fell apart once the 0% credit offer had expired. In any case, I would buy once and buy well for a sofa.

That's not too long a list of things you need though! I'd agree with greenbee about looking for some stuff (hard furniture, not soft stuff - I take her point about bed bugs too!) second hand - you might not know what you're looking for, but there's plenty of opportunity to browse and you're likely to find something far nicer and more solid for a more reasonable price.

Haven't done a Y Live survey in ages... I will get back to them....

It's a short list of furniture Vix, but only a very small component of the long list!

You have my sympathies, we need new pillows. I have tried a few times to decide which to buy there is so much choice:
      Sleep position
      Firmness
      Size
      Filling material
      Cover material
      Price
I just want some comfortable pillows.

I know, that's why I thought I'd start "easy" with a duvet 🤣! One of the duvet options had pillows in the pack with it, and I did find myself thinking "But how do I know they're the right pillows for me 🤷‍♀️???" 🤣🤦‍♀️

I’ve had good pillows from Soak & Sleep (‘soft as down’ microfibre ones). I mix soft and medium to get the right combination. Their duvets are good too.

I love my Dunlopillo - not cheap but lasts forever and the right firmness for me (and natural latex). These things are impossibly objective though!
