CM, my investments are all ESG too, despite the higher fees compared to a passive tracker. If you’re interested, Doughnut Economics by Kate Raworth is an interesting read.

    I think it'll be worth around £80k by the time I'm 60
Have just been doing some spreadsheeting (not my strongest skill, but think I've got it correct), and assuming a 2% average interest rate per year (hopefully not too way off the mark), I'll end up with £90.8k at age 60, after putting in £52k of my own money overall. Pretty happy with that as a risk-free supplement to my other plans.

Even more exciting, I calculated I "only" need to find another £32k to make up the remainder of my contributions 😀 Now, how many extra £50s is that....🤔🤔🤔???

Gah, very detailed dream about, er, relations with a colleague! At least this time a) this one is quite nice; and b) all we did was kiss and gently touch hands (it was just the first blossoming of our involvement, we spent most of the time discussing the fact he is married with children 😬 and that he had a huge field as a garden and how much upkeep it must take 🤷‍♀️) It appears even in my dreams I have no desire to wield a lawnmower! Not sure I'll be able to look him in the eye in real life for a while now, never thought of him in that way when I was awake 😳

Thank God tomorrow is 1 February!!!

  • Brilliant!!  He doesn’t know you dreamt about him .. unless weirdly he has had the same dream ….
Good to know the expense of a sit on lawnmower not in your future or needing to be pot to save for
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
