In other news, I am looking forward to payday. Not because I have run out of money, just because I'm looking forward to putting money into savings!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

It's obviously worth a lot to them to have more people signed up 🙄 But I agree it's annoying!
I too am waiting for the exciting bank shuffle next week 😁 going to do some tidying today so I'm nicely prepared 😁5 -

I love self scan shopping - even if I am only getting a few items I have my reusable bags lined up in a shallow trolley (I never ever use a deep trolley - I can't stand them - I just pack everything into a small one, however much shopping I buy). So much quicker and you can check prices / totals - always handy if you're doing a 'spend x to get y off' shop - I always try and spend as little over 'x' as possible (bearing in mind that sains always set my spend on those things usually at £80...)I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206

@greent I hate the deep trolleys too. There’s nothing more annoying than those being the only option with a child seat. I’m quite short and can’t reach the bottom of the flippin’ things and end up on tip toes and full stretch to rescue items from the depths.2025 decluttering: 2,480🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅

Ooh, I've never used self scanning! Oddly enough, I did spot someone doing it yesterday and thought it looked quite cool
Might give it a go know I know you lot have done it.
I hate deep trolleys as well, and never use one if I can avoid it. Lidl especially annoys me - small trolleys, but not shallow. Gah!5 -
You lot 🤣! This appears to have turned into confessions of the trolley haters! I did take a trolley round Lidl a couple of times in lockdown 1, when I was only shopping every 1-2 weeks, but that was my first time in years (benefit of living alone)! I tend to whip round with those ones you pull along behind you, except I never manage to load them evenly and they always end up dragging along the ground where I've overloaded them at the handle end 🤦♀️! Still, they are much better than the traditional baskets, which I end up clutching to my chest two-handed when they get heavy and then getting tangled up with my coat buttons!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

And I'd forgotten about those silly small deep trollies - like kids ones, but at adult height - meh!South_coast said:You lot 🤣! This appears to have turned into confessions of the trolley haters! I like the style of baskets you pull or push along, but as I try to go shopping as infrequently as possible and I am shopping for a family of 4 or 6 people I rarely get to use them.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
