Knowing me I'd probably drop it - I'd much rather smash their scanner 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I’m annoyed with the nectar prices because they do have some really good prices, but only if you shop in store, and I get my food shopping delivered due to disability. At least Clubcard prices are online too 😂Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

@Chiglepig - gotcha!
Also, the scanner isn't so bad, most stores have trolleys with a wee slot for them. It's also much faster to checkout4 -
I worry if I fill a basket - taking a trolley round would bankrupt me 😮!
The Nectar prices should definitely be for all types of shops, I'm even less inclined to partake now 🙁Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Doing it with a basket is a fiddly pain I’ll admit! But theoretically you can put it straight in your bag…Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I like the scanner thingy as I can pack my shopping as I buy it, one less thing to do and it saves me physical pain.
I have congenital problems with my back and putting the shopping into the trolley, getting it out of the trolley to go through the checkout, packing it into bags, back into the trolley and finally the bags into the car, all contribute to causing a huge amount of burning pain which can last for days especially reaching into the trolley to retrieve the bits at the bottom.
As well as reducing the amount of pain, I find I save time and I can pack my shopping just how I like without feeling that I am frustrating the till operator or other customers.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

And whatever happened to just having good prices - why do we now always have to have the (free) loyalty card??? First it was Tesco, then Sainsbury's, now I've had an email from Boots this week saying they're bringing in something similar too. What's the point of a two-tier pricing system when there are no barriers to entry 🤷♀️?6

I’m sure they all sell on your data as well. My DH doesn’t use them either, but because he says it is a faff and he won’t mess around for pennies. He doesn’t understand that small things add up to make a big difference, which is why he isn’t in charge of the joint account or the budget!2025 decluttering: 2,449🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅

Hmmm, I guess. Although I agree that most people are signed up already, so why the two-tier pricing "incentive"? Whatever happened to "Just good value everyday" (I paraphrase, but I'm sure someone had something like that as their strapline a few years ago). It just reminds me of that MVC music shop, where you had a lower price if you were an MVC club member, but you could join the club at various locations around the store, so clearly everyone was!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
