When you say down to four types of cheese, is that meant to be a good thing? For me, only having four types of cheese sounds like a disaster πππMortgage Balance as of July 2025 Β£14,900.

It's a relief, that's what it is! I have reached the ridiculous stage where not ramming in another apple turnover feels like I am making healthy life choices π€£! Currently look about 4 months pregnant....π¬Mortgage start: Β£65,495 (March 2016)

I have finished the cheese π₯³π₯³π₯³!

Cheese at Xmas - an excuse for us to try expensive cheeses we wonβt the rest of the year ..Β
I am strictly off the dairy as of now again but I think the allergic reaction was worth it .. manchego, pecorino, hard goats β¦ΒDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just donβt buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rateΒ isΒ attributed to the fact that weΒ donβt buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.Β Β Β Money doesnβt walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Yes, today is definitely the last day. Just about to get on the scales to find out the damage from yesterday π¬ Re-reading my old diary reminded me that I lost 17lbs in 2021. Only about half of it has gone back on, but it won't stay that way at this rate! Need to regain that focus. On the plus side, not had a single piece of choc while I've been off (but then savoury is always harder to resist!)Mortgage start: Β£65,495 (March 2016)

@South_coast pretty sure you'll nail the weight loss if that's your focus this year. You're always so good with your chosen goal.5
