This is terrifying to me! I understand the workings and would probably do it if I didn't need to deal with an impending remortgage. But it's still scary.South_coast said:
Just re-reading my old diary, and in March 2020 I had £40.2k available over 6 cards, so clearly not as bonkers as it feels!South_coast said:
I now have £33k available across 6 cards though, which is a bit bonkers.3 -
I should probably clarify that they were just the credit limits! I've certainly never owed anything like that, even with stoozing - I would agree that's terrifying 😬!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

There's probably more past-diarists/lurkers hanging about and reading diaries than you realize!South_coast said:
Still re-reading my old diary, and was amused to see I recommend ZipZero way back in September 2020 when they were having funding issues but I decided to persevere as I was scanning receipts to others anyway. Very pleased I did, I've had £272.46 from them since then - if only you'd all listened to me back then 🤣!
Also sad to see regular contributors who have fallen by the wayside with their updates. Hope their journeys are all still going well x

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
