I wholeheartedly agree - if you don't have much money then your choices are limited and there isn't much you can do to change that sometimes, which is something a lot of people in the Tory government don't seem to understand because they have money and don't have to make the hard choices when you have limited resources available to you.
Apologies, I'll get off my ranting box now 😆Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20174 -

Re baked beans! We love Branston beans but have stopped buying due to price hikes. Now buying Sains own brand and love them as much and much cheaper to boot. Dont usually rate own baked beans but very happy with these ones.2

We do Sainsbury's basics beans here at the moment but buy the reduced salt and sugar ones when they're on offer.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20174

My new council tax bill finally arrived yesterday, plus I have reinstated my electricity direct debit now that the £400 support scheme has come to an end, so with the new amounts for broadband and water rates also known I'll be paying out about £100 more each month than I have been recently. I'd like to keep saving the same £ amount as I have been, so managing on the rest is the new challenge 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
