DH & DSis had the 2nd half of Sunday night’s Chinese & I ended up having tinned mackerel (in olive oil) on toast & very yummy it was too 😋 Wudupa.
1904 - 1913 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, plastic bottle, paper packaging, 5 plastic takeaway boxes, cardboard box - recycled
1914 - 1915 Kitchen detritus, flowers cellophane wrapping - binned
-taff, regardless of the reason 😉 well done on starting the organising/decluttering the tools under the stairs 👏
Thank you weenancy, I rather like the idea of a birthday week 😊
roundtuit, a go-karting champion 🤩 Excellent decluttering 👏
Thank you for the birthday wishes mhagster 🙂
Thanks TC77 - a birthday month sounds even better than a birthday week 😂 Out of chaos comes order 😉 The tv unit must be massive if it is being converted to a cat house ………or am I getting confused & watching too many westerns 🤣 Like every marathon you just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other 🙂 As to the work situation, a team cannot function at half strength & if no one has applied you should at least warn your boss & HR that you are not prepared to risk your health to keep things going 😔
Back tomorrow - I have just spotted the time & am off to bed 😬

Morning all xx
I seriously do not want to go back to work. I want to stay at home and get rid of more clutter. But I have bills to pay so I'll go. I'll be fine once I get there, it's just home is my favourite/ safe place.
I'm hoping to declutter a little each evening to keep things moving.
I'll take the note pads, plastic pockets etc previously noted to work with me (and leave them there 😉 ) - every little helps.
Wishing you all a good day

A belated Happy Birthday to you, Mrs SD.
TC77 - re your outstanding leave, perhaps have a think about working a four day week to use it up? There have been various studies (I think there was a big one in Sweden) that show people who work a four day week achieve as much in those four days as those who work a 5 day week and it has benefits for their health. You could try it for just one week and see how the rest of the team get on without you if you are concerned about committing to it weekly.
DSis came yesterday and has finished emptying the little bedroom, taken the curtains away to be cleaned and gave the room a good clean. I like it empty, lol. We have decided that my top priority is to get back to eating healthily and she will come one morning a week to help me with sorting through everything that came out of the little bedroom, dealing with admin tasks, sorting out tradespeople to get repairs and replacements done and getting the garden back under control.
That will leave me with space to do the admin tasks that only I can deal with, make the decisions and get some more energy.
So, nothing got rid of yesterday but numerous pieces of paper went out in the preceding few days.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅11 -

All ructions this morning 😥 My nephew (in France) has phoned his mum - a problem with his bank account means he is at the garage but cannot pay the bill for his bike repair. After a long chat & DSis waking up both me & DH it is now sorted - he has a bike 🥳 DH has performed some magic & the bill is paid immediately. I suppose the one good thing is that both DH & I are awake & dressed far earlier (before 10:00 a.m.) than we would have been 😂 Just having my first cuppa & contemplating what decluttering/frogs to deal with.
Time to catch up on the cheerleading 😉
Thanks for the birthday wishes EnergyShifter 🙂 Long may the unusual amount of energy continue together with the gentle days at work 😉 Excellent decluttering 👏
Thank you for the birthday wishes florianatwobob 🙂
Thanks for the birthday wishes vulpix 🙂 Lovely supportive post 😊 Yippee to finding a surgery that treats you like a real person 🥳 The old surgery obviously have a different interpretation of a hypochondriac - maybe the time limit is 6 years 😂 Hope the new tablets kick in quickly & that you will start feeling better very soon. Now that is what I call MSE - hm scrunchies at a tenth of the price 🥳
Thanks for the birthday wishes daisy_1571 🙂 DSis showed me all the other colour palettes so I might be getting another one for C…. 😉
What a good mum you are TC77 😊
How dare work get in the way of your decluttering roundtuit 😂🙃 However, I think that you are now such a successful declutterer that setting aside some time after work will help you keep up the momentum 👏
Thanks -taff 🙂 I had ‘inferred’ the Happy Birthday from your post 😉 Btw I did confirm to myself that I used the correct word 😂 especially bearing in mind the earlier conversation about the English language 😉
Thank you for the birthday wishes oceanspirit 🙂 What a great idea for TC77 👏 So nice to have a supportive DSis - makes life a little easier & ‘declutters’ the stress of coping alone 😊 Sending you lots of positive vibes.

1220 GCs Christmas cards bought ready to write.

One dose! I feel like a different person. Not going to go crazy just yet but I don’t have headache and I feel much more energetic. For the tip. A leaf hoover we were given. A printer that requires full new branded Ink to print 1 A4 sheet. Every time!
Whilst I have been resting I have been thinking. Oh dear, this usually means work for Mr V. Plenty of diy needs crossing off the list. First job is to make a huge old top hat 🎩 into a lamp shade. Probably taking hours and at some expense then I don’t like the result!🤣
off to craft club later with my prototype Rudolph hat and Santa searchers. I want to know what the others think and which one to make with the children at the Christmas fair. All’s well that ends well Mrs SD. Having a good supportive family is a blessing in times of crisis / stress.Vx:7 -
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger happy birthday season.
Well finally got some items listed onto Ebay, OK it is only 4 and 1 had a bid within 2 hours. This is geeing me up a bit to get some more on.
Decluttered another hospital appointment for DH and he has just had some injections into his knees and has to rest for 2 days, he won't find that hard as he has been doing that for the last month or so. He thinks I am not noticing the changes
No need for paper shredding the moment as the paper is now used to help in lighting the fire, saves a bit of electric too.
Still reducing the wool stash into crochet blankets for donating as soon as practical.
About to make a decision about how much declutter of pounds are to be made to the dentist for a repair to a tooth that broke last week.
Got 2 gifts for DS birthday and still need to purchase the standard annual purchase of socks and trollies from matalan, they will be gone on friday.
CH has been tested briefly and helped air the house.
There is a considerable ironing pile looking at me from across the room that needs reducing, needs must.
Keep well and stay safe
