Aw bless, you lovely lot 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Tackled a massive dragon today - asked two people to be referees for my promotion application 🙈 Took me the entire day to work up to it, I know I should have done it first thing, but at least it's done now.
Let's hope they say yes 🙄
Mr Cheery has made my tea and run me a bath 😁 He is excelling himself today (although he's rationed my ice cream twixes to one a day, so... 😂)
To be fair, this promotion has been part of the long term plan for a good while. I first applied in Feb 2019 😂 If I get it, it'll bump up my pay nicely, and will also change my job a bit in a good way 😁 Won't find out til about July, and it won't take effect til September. We'll see...14 -
Good luck with the promotion application. You've done all you can.

Thank you all 😊
An ice cream twix is a marvellous thing!!
Nothing much to report. Just driven to work, and I'll definitely need diesel on the way home. Brought breakfast, dinner, and snacks, and I'm going to a friend's house for tea, so shouldn't need to buy anything else.
Can't remember where we got up to with the granite saga. Spoke to granite guy about having transparent epoxy, and he said it would be 'milky'- Mr Cheery didn't want that, and I certainly didn't want to get into any more arguments so we ended up saying that we would keep it simple and do it ourselves (should have stuck tomyguns last week!)
Had no reply from either granite guy or kitchen geezer to that - probably both cursing me - but they didn't turn up so they obviously got the message.
What a palaver.
Hey ho, best go and do some work!15
