We do have a Nationwide Flex account with world wide insurance, breakdown etc which we keep for the breakdown cover as we have 5 vehicles in total so it works out cheaper than paying for breakdown for each one. They wouldn't cover DH for travel as he was waiting for an operation at the time I phoned them and he is currently on the waiting list for another which is why the September cover is so expensive as it covers us for if his op happens to coincide with the holiday but can get a refund on that bit if he operation goes ahead before then which is what we are hoping. Once that holiday is over I'll try Nationwide again and see if they'll cover us and of course by then there won't be the age supplement to pay now that Aviva are taking over from May and they're not going to charge it.

I'm wondering whether the skylarks will be up singing when I head up to Lincoln later in the week Cheery - it's often up there I hear them first. We saw our first blackcap of the year last weekend - he wasn't singing yet, just hopping around in the bush at the back of our garden eating berries from the ivy! I do love a Curlew though - in fact, ALL birds that tell you their own names are pretty cool! (Shout-out to the Corncrake for being able to do it in Latin!)
You've reminded me to check my travel insurance - all good, we're fine until October so this years adventuring is covered OK - although we'll need to renew straight away as next year's accommodation is already booked, of course. Fingers crossed it won't go up too much - we paid under £40 last year though, and I suspect those days are long gone!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you all 😊
Yes, I have been spotted in dressing gown and wellies before, just not in March 😂 Usually letting the chickens out 😂 But obviously not doing that now 😕 Actually sitting down in dressing gown and wellies with a notebook feels even more unusual 😂 The isolation gives an illusion of, well, isolation... 😂
Busy but productive work day. Nipped to town for prescription - mine was done but they hadn't dispensed the remainder of Mr Cheery's, and the pharmacist was out, and we didn't want to wait. So he'll have to make another trip on Wednesday.
Both going to town tomorrow so will just take one car. And I've arranged to stay at a friend's on Wednesday night so that's one less trip.
So. Got the evening to myself, hooray! Obviously have an unwieldy plan..

Everyday is a school day chez Cheery - I had to g00gle that one!
Never used one of them, but I swear by my epilator. Over the years I've gone from using it every other day to once every 4 to 6 weeks! Smooth extremities make getting ready so much quicker every day!
