Ooh, I thought it was just free drinks with Greggs? Not that my local one is taking part 🙄 I had a free cuppa from a different one but didn't bother reading much more closely 🙄4

Morning MSE chums 😊
Well, I had a nice evening yesterday, out for my second leaving do of the week. Only drank soft drinks, mostly water.l, just wasn't feeling it with alcohol yesterday. Spent around £15, mostly drinks for other people. Had the option of staying at a friend's but we had a cuppa with her then came home, so a late night but slept well.
I've come to the cafe alone this morning, done my monthly planning and had a read of my book 😊
Joined the Make £10 a day thread at the start of Jan, and managed £10.09 a day in Feb, pleased with that! Need to get on the case with the next bank switch before they withdraw it 🙄
What else? Oh! The other new job! I spent a few hours working on my application yesterday, then logged into the online site to start filling the actual form in with education etc - and the job wasn't there!! Checked the documents I'd downloaded - deadline next week. Checked their website - not there. Checked another website - deadline next week 🤔 Emailed the named contact, and it had in fact closed last week 😠 Apparently they'd changed it on their website - but I'd already downloaded the documents when it was first advertised, and it didn't occur to me to check back. Lesson learned, and at least I've got my weekend back i suppose 🙄
So we are ploughing on in current job for the time being. I'm considering starting a new diary - I thought I might whether I got new job or not. We've been in our house 6 years as of this week, and we have just under 6 years til Mr Cheery gets his state pension, so it seems a nice period to do some planning for 😊
A job for later, maybe once I've taken the Christmas tree down 😂
So, today:
* sign LPG form
* book ferries and house for Ireland trip
* sign us up for new accounts ready for next switch
* tree down
* blog post
* new diary?!
* flute practice9 -

Sorry about the job closing early Cheery. That’s really frustrating. But on the upside, at least you get to keep your Fridays off for now ;-)5
