My car insurance doubled last August absolutely ridiculous.

I don't like it, but I will always check - I did just save over £300 on the house insurance, so that was definitely worth it! 

Ended up going to see some friends last night which was cheerful 😊 Just trying to persuade myself to get out of bed and get on with some of the list...

£300 is definitely worth it. I think there’s a balance to be struck though - I’m not doing as the MSE guide says - you’d be there forever for very little gain. Great if you’ve never switched but not needed every year.

Also trying to persuade myself to get up… think I need a list too!

😂 only just seen this but I am up, dressed, cats fed and breakfasted, dishwasher  emptied and loaded, so I probably did get up about the right time!

😂😂 I've done a workout, and am now having mango & ginger smoothie for breakfast and sorting out a million photos for the long-neglected blog. Got dressed once, but I'll have to do it again as I don't want to be in workout clothes all day 😂

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't seen there were bank switches available.  Have applied for the Natwest one using a donor account I had set up ready.

I am time blocking my to-do list Cheery and is working! I owe this idea entirely to you, so thank you. House is clean and tidy (enough) now and it’s only taken 45 mins. Into next hour now… and a walk to the allotment, which is much more fun!

Transfer your TV licence DD to a different account and use that.  Do you have any annual memberships which you could transfer?  Monthly or annual charity donation - only needs to be a small amount.  Do you have Netflix or Sky?
