Hi Cheery, 1P payments generally take 3 weeks to a month to arrive in your account or PP depending on where you have requested the £ be sent. I'm often well on the way to the next payout before the previous one lands4

Ridiculous morning here. Turned the alarm off and went back to sleep 🙄 then a very foggy drive, and 15 mins spent looking for a parking space (but on the plus side, the only one I found was a free one so didn't cost anything!)
Hoping the rest of the day is slightly calmer! Got to head into town later, think I'll walk though rather than messing about with the car again 🙄3 -
If you can walk into town I would, you don't want to lose your free space on spend time at either end looking for parking 😉Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Seconding walking - unless it's lobbing it down with rain of course, nobody needs a soggy afternoon!
We had a failed alarm issue yesterday so I feel your pain on that one. I confess I'm glad it was someone else's turn for that inconvenience today - it would have been substantially more problematic for us on a day MrEH had to travel in to London as well as me!
I find 1P quite frustrating on the payments side of things as they are (and have always been) stupidly slow. At least you can cash out at £25 now though rather than the old £40 threshold.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks all. I did drive to town in the end, only because I hadn't finished what I was doing in time to walk 🙄
Delighted to report that I did actually manage to get a reasonable amount of work done this afternoon. Less delighted that I then had to drive to a different town to retrieve Mr Cheery from the hospital 🙄 And then back to our more local town, to retrieve the car he'd left at the walk in centre earlier.
We may be getting closer to an answer, but I confess all this health uncertainty is getting rather tiresome for both of us right now.
Still, one day at a time. I am very grateful for a stable and flexible job, where I can usually take time out at very short notice. I am grateful for excellent colleagues, who have stepped in when I've not been there. We have an important event tomorrow, and between us we have contingency plans so it will run smoothly without me if necessary, although I'm not anticipating this will be the case at this stage.
Also grateful for MSE, which generates the best sort of cheerful people - one of whom I hope to meet tomorrow for the first time 👀😁
Anyway, one advantage to all this health nonsense (possibly the only one) is that I currently care very little about all the other things on my to do list 🙄😂). Garden needs strimming? No clean socks? House full of mice? All true, and all things which are being ignored in favour of eating reasonably well, getting enough sleep, and doing enough work to not cause a problem for myself later.
Right, best go to bed. Tomorrow will be another long and slightly tedious one even if everything DOES go to plan, so fingers crossed that nothing else unexpected happens!7 -
Sorry to hear about Mr Cheery. It is very true when ill health strikes it puts lots of things into persepective.Take care of both of you xxxxx sending hugs xxxx3

Ignoring all the peripheral stuff and concentrating on the "right now" things is definitely a plan at the moment Cheery - as well as aiming for "enough" and "reasonably".
