    He was saying how much he was looking forward to a night with no beeping,  but the flippin smoke alarm just woke us up - i assume the back up battery is going (its mains powered), or there's cobwebs in it, as there's clearly no fire 🙄

    Glad Mr Cheery is home and anything serious has been ruled out.  I have been having beeping for almost a week now from the fire alarm.  Even after changing the battery it is still beeping, so the electrician is coming over today as he thinks it might be faulty!  We have several others so it is still safe but I wont be sorry to het the chirping to stop
