I am genuinely in awe Cheery - that is really going some with that cycling - well done you! You’ve inspired me a bit actually - the furthest I’ve gone in any sort of recent times is about 12 miles, but I really would like to go further, so once my back is (hopefully!) feeling a bit less ouchy and we’re back from our holidays maybe I’ll just trundle off one day and see where I get to…although I’d need to come up with some practical routes avoiding the main roads!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you all 😊 To be honest, I've been impressed with myself 😂😂 This is the first challenge type thing that's actually motivated me to get off my backside this much.
I confess last night was the first time I REALLY didn't want to get back on the bike though... I'd done 40 miles the day before, 11 that morning, and needed to do another 15... Five miles into the exercise bike though, I was VERY ready to stop. I managed another one, then stopped for a cuppa, did another one after that, and then NOPE. The final 8 got done this morning 🙄
The whole thing has made me want to do some more cycling though 😊 I can keep going for quite a long time but I'm rubbish at hills 🙄 so something to work on considering where we live 🙄😂 Most of this challenge has been on railway trails, but they're not a smooth surface, so you don't get much freewheeling! Loved exploring the Cheshire countryside a bit more yesterday though. Hope you can get out and about a bit more too EH! 😊 I find breaking the miles up with ice cream stops really helps 😂9 -
So. Today. Finished the bike miles, nipped out for a bit, FINALLY planted some seeds - I'll be amazed if any of them have time to turn into anything at this stage but you never know 🙄
Given them all a good water and now we're abandoning them for several days while we go ON HOLIDAY!!!
can't tell you excited we are 😃😃 In a minor miracle we managed to find a self catering apartment for a few nights at the seaside 😁 Sea view, bay window, our own little kitchenette thing 😊 I'm sure we could have found something either cheaper or more 'us' if we weren't trying to book the day before a bank holiday in half term week 😂 But hey ho, it's done now, and at least we can cook at least some meals.
😊😊😊😊😊10 -

Oooh wonderful for the spontaneous holiday! 😊 Don’t worry about the seeds - give them a quick sprinkle of water before you leave, put them somewhere shady and they will just be appearing when you get home!KKAs at 15.07.25:
