Yes, and the blue hair shrieking one! And I was quite fond of the one banging its head against a brick wall 😂
Traffic was appalling coming through Sheffield today, no idea what was going on. Drove the same way I drive to work, and it was worse than a normal rush hour! Hey ho, we made it eventually - I've just nipped out to get some plasterboard to cover up the fireplace.5 -
They did get rid of all the fun ones didn't they. The blue hair shrieking one left you in no doubt did it?

Indeed not!
We found a bag of unopened post from the year 2000 earlier. Feels quite recent, but of course it's 23 years ago 😂😂 Stamps were 19p! 😱 I found one that just says 1st and was saving it to use now, but of course they've got to have bar codes now 🙄
Also - mortgage rates at 8.94%!5 -
Not yet I believe it has been postponed to July.

Fantastic news! And what makes it even better is that the stamp is on an envelope sent by someone to Mr Cheery Snr, dismissing a complaint he made and asking him to sign a form to say he'd now stop complaining about it 🙄 So I'm glad they wasted a stamp that I now get to use! 😂
Gosh, that was a long day 😱 This morning's drive was dreary and boring and beset with traffic and roadworks. The visit itself was alright - I always spent a lot of time cleaning though. Then driving down the motorway a couple of times people flashed lights behind us for no reason that we could see, so we pulled off the motorway to check all the lights were working - they were, so goodness knows what was going on.
Both had cheerful musical escapades (mine quite surreal 😂 definitely not the type of thing I'd usually get involved in, but fun).
Drive home from there was a bit grim - lots of rain, a couple of big floods over the road, plenty of fog, and the stupid heater is playing up in the car, and while I don't mind it being cold, it's a massive pain when the windscreen lists over every few minutes 🙄
Anyway, home 20 mins ago, chickens to bed and me to bed.
Oh, and there seems to be some strike news, but quite frankly communication from the union has been beyond appalling so I'm going to the emergency branch meeting in the morning to see if anyone local can explain properly. Seems we have bundled all our disputes together, and have a win on one, a definite lose on another, and not much commitment to the other 3, and now we must decide whether to accept the significant win, which also means accepting the other things... information received in the form of an hour long podcast (!) with an accompanying 18 page transcript. Hoping tomorrow will prove more informative!
And on that note... I'd best go to sleep...7 -

Ha, fingers crossed the mortgage rates don't get all the way back up there and further 😱
Brrr, it's chilly today. I'd forgotten Mr Cheery was out for a few hours later, so I'm going to make myself a nice list 😁 Back in a bit...3
