Oh dinner out sounds like a lovely treat - that is very kind of Mt C's dad :-).  And then a night or two in town - a change is as good as a holiday!

If it feels like too much right now, your other saving accounts can wait a bit.  

Funny fact I was thinking about in regards to your expense claim.  I'm pretty certain that literally no-one checks the ones at my work!  We went over to an new online HR system some years ago, and certainly when I was managing nothing ever came my way for approval.  I think the thinking was it was cheaper just to put them through then check them?  Not that I have many to be fair, or anyone I work with is likely to either, but still.  Hopefully if we are ever audited it won't cause any problems!

Thanks all 😊 I've not got round to quibbling the expenses yet, a job for this week. 

No word of movement on the negotiations yet 🙄 I know they're having another meeting on the 14th, but we're all hoping things are going on behind the scenes before then 🙄 Out from next Wednesday for 6 days if it's not called off 🙄

Anyway, yawn to that. I have a bed for tomorrow night with a cheerful pal and we're off out for tea so all good 😊

We had a lovely meal! New to us restaurant, with really nice food. A lovely evening 😊

Snow's started near work, and everyone else has gone home 🙄 I'm sticking around and will walk to friend's house tonight. 

I hope some people actually turn up to my class tomorrow after I've made all this effort. Bet they don't 🙄 Hey ho.

Dentist this morning for root canal treatment. I'm a bit like a bear with a sore head this afternoon and would quite like to be at home in bed!

My educational
institute stint was 1 in 5 got checked, as instructed by the powers that be (gritted teeth emoticon)  we queried to make sure people understood and so it didn't happen again, and paid after discussion, Hope it gets resolved quickly

I hope the numb face is now less numb and not too painful, and that a "soft-tea"  last night was enjoyed! 

How lovely of Mr C Senior too - nice to have found somewhere new that it sounds like you may use again too as a result of that generosity. 

How are the snow levels with you? We had a little yesterday, but it was giving consideration to thawing by the time I went to bed last night and had almost entirely disappeared by this morning but I rather get the feeling you will not be experiencing the same.
