    'hole' day indeed 🙄

    Goodness I'm tired. Definitely overdid it yesterday. Wiped all day today. Didn't  end up setting off til 3pm, Mr Cheery drove us here, and I have no idea how I've stayed awake because I've been ready to sleep since about 4 😂

    Couldn't find the tent 🙄 and I'm glad actually because it's CHUCKING it down here 🙄🙄 Fortunately we've been offered a bed inside - although it's on a mezzanine above the party itself so not exactly peaceful 😂😂 But I'm tired enough that I'll likely be asleep in 5 mins anyway...

    I did think that ‘hole’ was indicative of your tiredness 😔 Hope you slept ok and are feeling better today.

    Happy wheel total is £189 for July. Rather annoying since I won about £230 in one go at the start of the month 🙄 But £189 in a month is still pretty good going so I'll take it! Added to the new car fund 😊

    Right, slowly restoring order. Cleaned the bathroom, and sorted through my exercise kit and identified a couple of things to cut up for rags, and several things to wash ready for the charity shop. We have a specialist exercise kit charity shop here so I'll drop it off there next week. That's another thing ticked off my ongoing jobs list 😊

    Mr Cheery and I have agreed to ring the pensions people tomorrow - it's been put off several times for various reasons. So tomorrow is looking like...

    * strim garden while Mr Cheery clears away accumulated bits of wood etc
    * quick tidy round house
    * funeral at 11
    * lunch
    * ring pensions people
    * pick through blackcurrants and get them in the freezer (probably while on hold)
    * friend coming at 3
    * out about 5.30

    That's probably quite enough for one day. Going to try to gently get back into flylady routines this week which should make me feel on top of things without feeling overwhelming.

    Morning chums 😊

    Sun is shining, breakfast is had, flylady morning routine done, washing on 😊

    Banks & YNAB checked - all in reasonable order. I'm not on the list of premium bonds high value winners, so will have to wait til tomorrow to see what I've won (or not). I think we'll set up Mr Cheery his own PB account and start populating that with anything extra that comes in now - I think the joint account has got enough of a float to tide him over for a month or so in case anything happens to me 🙄 after that he'll have a month of my wages, and then a massive payout of both death in service benefits and life insurance, so just that initial bit to deal with. Anyway, happy to start putting into PBs again now, and no point it all being in my name.

    Happy Wheel done - up £2.38 this morning, which is at least up instead of down! 😂

    Prolific STILL standing at £2.97 - I've got another £3 odd to clear so when that's done I'll withdraw.

    Had the electricity bill - we're still paying £72.11 a month, apparently used £60 odd this month, and so now standing at £95 in credit, which I suppose is a good thing.

    Need to check the LPG tank. We've got £530 in the pot ready for a top up - should hopefully be another couple of months before we're due, but they sometimes come at odd times to us because we can only have the small tanker, so they just slot us in when they're in the area. Still, if they come when it's still half full, it won't be the cost of a full tank I suppose. Will check today and register whatever it says.

    Right, can't put off the strimming any longer 🙄 and only got an hour til I need to get changed for the funeral anyway 🙄

    Right. Garden strimmed, and then we were slightly derailed by elderly, very deaf, neighbour bring a parcel that had been dropped at his yesterday. Goodness knows why - I had deliberately clicked 'leave in porch' NOT leave with neighbour 🙄 Never mind. Had a very one sided conversation - he can't hear anything you say, so he just talks at you, but we did manage to give him some eggs at least.

    Funeral was simple and nice. Lots of people there, and a bit of Bon Jovi played during the reflection time 😂

    Had an impromptu cafe trip after that - probably won't be going again this week as the machine they use for decaf coffee is broken, and Mr Cheery won't drink anything else. I told them they'd best hope we don't find a new favourite cafe before they fix it! 😂

    Just having a brief respite in the midst of running round tidying. Lots of things had been dumped as we got ready for going away over the weekend, and the bedding was all still in the study from when I was isolating, so it's nice to have things cleared away again downstairs.

    I'm going to have to have a week of 15 min spurts in the new bedroom though, because that's now the dumping ground for everything that was downstairs... 🙄😂😂

    Right, best get on again...

    I hope that’s not literal running around Cheery, take it easy.

     Funeral sounds good with a bit of Bon Jovi and lots of people.
