You're right starnac of course. Small changes are key!
And Jellytots, that's interesting. He is thankfully feeling better today, although still not eaten much. He did have covid over Christmas, with no symptoms, but has now come down with this. Who knows??10 -

Thank you all - Hetty, it sounds like we are similar in the party animal department! 😂 Except we were watching Cobra Kai (sewing bee is a solo pursuit in this house, and one which i confess I only started watching the other day!)
Well, I am having an excellent relaxed day 😁 Couple of long ish dog walks, a nice long nap 😁 I've made a giant cous cous salad - had some for lunch and there are another 3-4 portions in the fridge. Also put 2 portions of plain cous cous in the freezer, and some roasted parsnip.
Now making a tea loaf which I will turn miraculously into a Christmas cake 😂 and we dug the bread maker out of the loft to make pizza dough.
My sister and her kids (and dogs!) are coming tomorrow for a pizza party - not used my pizza stone before so am experimenting tonight... I think I'm best making and rolling out a load of bases tonight, and somehow storing them in the fridge. But I might actually just store the dough in the fridge after these first two, might not be enough room.
Going to cut up all my toppings into little bowls so we can just put them all on the table and everyone can make their own bit of pizza 😁13 -
Cheery - if you are making several balls off pizza dough, try storing them unrolled on a cookie sheet covered with a slightly damp tea towel - we've successfully stored six of them per sheet overnight in the fridge & then rolled out the next day on a sprinkling of corn meal which gives them a nice crunch (plain flour works too - no crunch) - a bit easier than trying to roll out a day in advance!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! An excellent tip, thank you! I've rolled two out - I'll be having one for my tea as an experiment 😊 but the rest of the dough I'll store in the fridge. Will likely make another round of dough in the morning as well. I'm running out of steam now and still want to chop up all the veg etc...11
