Another £11.97 doing MB today, so I'm up £49 for January so far
And now the dishes are done, and I'm going to have a nice shower and curl up on the sofa with the dog, a hot water bottle, and Mr Cheery, to wind down towards bed

Well done on your productive day Cheery!
Amazing that 4 days into the month & you've already mapped out your extra income4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!10 -
Not sure how much I'll get RT, but I know I won't likely be doing anything else to acquire any 😂😂
Aiming for at least £200, but if I could get £400 that would be ace. All depends on MB - there will always be swings but consistency is key!11 -
Good luck with the extra income goal.

The dog sounds like he's getting his paws well and truly under the desk
. My two are used to the academic life, and have their own chair in my study and my campus office!
Apparently getting out first thing is really good for resetting your sleep becuase morning sunlight kicks your brain into action, then you're ready for sleep later in the day.2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,85610 -
Thanks all,
I do usually get a very brief burst of daylight first thing - dashing to the chicken run in my dressing gown and wellies 😂😂 Right palaver at the minute - I don't trust the dog so he has to be in the house when I do anything chicken related. So I dash out to let the chickens out (of their house - they're still shut in the big chicken run), then back in to retrieve the dog, who by this point has woken up and is dancing for a wee, back out into the garden with him (still in my dressing gown) for a quick wee so he doesn't go in the house, back in to get dressed, then back out again for a proper walk with the dog.
After all this palaver this morning, I got halfway up the drive with him, he did his business, and then decided it was just too damn cold to go any further. I don't blame him - it's freezing out there. He just put his ears down, turned round to face home, and refused to budge.
Came back inside and he got straight back on the sofa bed and curled up in a ball. Wasn't impressed when I shifted him to put the bed away 😂 but I've put his blanket and hot water bottle back onto the sofa and he's fast asleep again now 😂
And yes, he has his own hot water bottle now, after I caught him curled up against mine when I left it lying around a couple of times 😂😂 It also stops him trying to get under the duvet with me at night!
Pesky creature.
Freezing today. I normally manage with just the electric heater in the study til Mr Cheery gets up, rather than heating the entire house, but I'm afraid that's not cutting it this morning so they're both on, and I've got a hot water bottle, and I'm still cold! brrrrrrrr.
MSE things today:
* made a nice frittata for lunch
* going to have roasted sweet potato curry and rice for tea - I'll make extra and get some in the freezer
* still got Christmas treats from my sister left for snacks
* going to spend 30 mins later making a start on my promotions form. Putting this off, but I left it far too late last time and don't want to be in a rush again (it's due at the end of Feb).
Right, best get on.14 -
Do you make the sweet potato curry yourself Cheery? I quite like the sound of that.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2009

❄ We have snow on the hills here this morning Cheery ❄
I love that Cheery Dog has his own hot water bottle 💕 Do you think father-in-law has been struggling to cope with pooch recently? I think you said he was considering a holiday when he was well enough and I wondered if that was a way of delaying having the dog back? Will you keep him? He seems to be becoming part of the family.
Mr F and I were talking on our walk with FDawg this morning. It was cold and wet and, without a dog, I doubt whether we would have ventured out for a walk. We walk for 45 minutes every morning before work and we feel it does us a lot of good - physically and mentally. At the moment I'm on the look out for snowdrops. We have a lot here and they usually appear early to mid-February but, as it's been so mild this winter, they may appear earlier. I love to see the different wildflowers appearing throughout the year. Such a cheerful procession.

Ah that sounds easy enough. Maybe I'll have a go. We could do with some different things on our meal plan. Thank youGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2009
