I have a lookee likee pair from M & S, (chazza buy, natch!) but the leather is a lot softer than the DM's I have seen.

Ooops..... forgot to mention my last chazza find before Chrimbo!  A Jolie Moi (??) pleated chiffon maxi skirt, like the one in the attached linky, except mine has salmon pink spots on a black background. B/N and £6 from the Community chazza..  Mainly bought it cos I could picture it with existing accessories of black suede boots, black roll neck jumper and a salmon pink cashmere wrap/cape thing.

Just a last minute/year end whizz around the chazzers today and found a lovely Hi-Gear microfleece with hoody and pouch, sleeves a bit long but that's fine - and a lovely rich burgundy colour (and no bobbling!)

I did have a pair of DMs when I was at sixth form college. After that, I had many pairs of army surplus boots! (It was the 90s).

At 47, I've now got a pair of Next boots. I think next year might see me looking for something more interesting, boot wise.

One little buy for me today - a grey velvet cushion for £1from PDSA in Northallerton.

I did notice some charity shops are starting sales already, particularly of Christmas cards and decorations.

Lovely boots @Pollycat and look most comfortable. Alas my rebellious phase included winklepickers, one pair of which I covered in crepe paper and sequins most of which came off over the course of the party!
I managed to walk into town yesterday encouraged by a nagging reminder email from the library. As a reward to myself for making the effort I stopped off at my favourite BHF shop on the way home and snapped up these lovely Lakeland hemisphere pans, £3, and a packet of Paperchase DIY crackers, £2.



I'm especially pleased about the hemisphere pans as I bought one with a 20cm diameter from the Oxfam shop either this year or last but stupidly didn't purchase the 2" diameter one that was also on the shelf that day. I've been mentally kicking myself ever since because it would have made a lovely orbiting moon/asteroid etc. but at the time my hands were full and I thought that a single miniature pan would just be a nuisance. Anyway, these two have a diameter of 16cm so any moment now I'll be baking a universe or a family of ladybirds or something.
