It is frustrating when you can't run isn't it? Luckily my physio is a great guy and he's put up with my frustration for months. I do think he's relieved that most of that frustration has gone now I can actually run. Although he's still trying to limit my running. "Just a short run....no 8 miles is not a short run"
I literally had to start back with C25K as my ankle just wasn't having it! Then it had to be a flat run on tarmac. As a long distance trail runner, I was pulling my hair out!! But I needed to be sensible as I have a lot of races booked this year. So far it's paying off.
More items decluttered yesterday. I am following a lady on insta who gives daily areas/themes to declutter. Normally when I decide to declutter I go in full bull in china shop and then get overwhelmed with the magnitude of the job. Her way is more controlled and achievable. Little areas everyday.
Right I need to shoot off. I have so much to do today, I'm bouncing from one place to the next all the way to 9pm this evening.
Hope you all have a good dayGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2002 -
Monday morning!
DD has just gone for her driving lesson.
There are a million things I want to do today. I have swapped my long run for later on in the week so that I can get some things done today.
Let's make a list:
*clothes away upstairs
*pay milk bill
*sort Christmas stuff before putting away under the stairs
*move rosemary plant
*research how to cut back the grape vine
*check banks
I had loads I was thinking of last night and now can't think of any. I'm sure this list will get added to.

Morning all,
I didn't get everything done on my list as I got slightly sidetracked while putting my clothes away. On the up side, I have 2 bags of clothes to go, and my dressing room looks a lot better after a good sort out. Lots of items were decluttered and I feel better about the disorganisation in the dressing room now.
It's a small room with built in wardrobes and drawers. Must be original to the house by the colour and general condition of them. They really need replacing as there are at least 3 drawers that fall apart every time you open them! We are hoping to redo the room some time this year but in the meantime, it always feels disorganised. The work I did in there on Monday has gone some way to offsetting that so I'll count that as a win.
This morning I got paid for some extra work I did and I have moved the majority of that to my savings.
Today I am off to the gym, not that I feel like going to be fair, but every Wednesday I meet my PT there so I have to goGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2002 -
How lovely to see you back.
And listen to advice on the running, exasperating as it may be you don't want to go back wards2 -
Hi peb, I have been listening to the advice for a change. I did all the exercises, I held off running, then kept the distance low. I think even my physio is surprised by how well I listened to him
I have a day off today. An actual day off, not a "day off but I still need to finish this or meet them" but an actual day off. Today I plan to try to finish the cardigan I am making. I only have the sleeves to go. I started so well back at the start of January and then it's been sitting there for the past fortnight. I would really like to finish it as I've seen a pattern for another cardigan I would like to make. I wear a lot of cardigans
List for today:
*check banks - pay day was yesterday
*move money around
*dishes
*washing
*hang washing up
*one sleeve
*sort box of cr*p on coffee table
That'll do for now. Weather is looking much better today. Yesterday it hammered down! It was awful. Driving home and the river was very high so a bit worrying as we live in a flood area. We are safe where we are but the village almost becomes an island and we struggle to get out when the river floods. Fingers crossed, the level will drop while it's dry today.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2002 -
Sending "water receding" vibes for your village - the river a few miles from us was up and over its flood plain this morning as I came along the motorway - thankfully these days at that point at least it does only flood over onto fields, a massive improvement from when I was a child when I can remember the cottages running behind it near the village my Aunt & Uncle lived in flooding regularly all winter and spring.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well I spoke too soon about the weather! It has rained all day. The washing has been hung up inside with the dehumidifier running. It was only me and the dog here today so I wasn't planning on putting the heating on but DS came home from school ill so I dosed him up and sent him to bed. I put the heating on low then as I didn't want him to get a chill when he wasn't feeling well.
I completed one sleeve. One more to go then sew it together and add the button band. The sleeve took longer than I thought so I won't have time to do the other one today as I am out this evening with DD. I may be able to finish it this weekend if I put my mind to it.
While checking banks I realised that my pay rise was in this pay check. £70! not bad at all!! I will add that to money made as I wasn't expecting it this month. I will also send it over to the mortgage as an overpayment when I can find the payment details. They seem to have disappeared off my payees on the online banking app which is annoying.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2002 -
Morning all.
I finally managed to send the overpayment through. The payee details had disappeared off the list in my regular online bank. Never mind I thought, I'm sure I can pay directly through the mortgage account online banking. Except the app had logged me out and wouldn't recognise my biometrics to log back in. What followed was a hunt through all the paperwork in the office to find my customer number. All the mortgage paperwork has the mortgage account number but I specifically needed a customer number which was different *sigh* I'm not sure why they make it so hard!
All done now though and added to the total on my signature. It's not much as money has been a bit tight due to January being 3 months long but it's better than nothing.
