As an update, DCB emailed me on 2/9 stating that they intend to pursue the claim for the hire car - the case number included in the email was for the hire car case. They also included their directions questionnaire for this case number. (I've heard nothing from them yet about the case regarding my own car). Included in the email was the usual spiel of contacting them if I want to settle, which I've ignored.

I haven't received a directions questionnaire to fill out myself for either case yet, from the CCBC. Keeping an eye on the letterbox daily.

What does your MCOL filing history say? Does that say a DQ has been sent? If yes then download one and start filling it in.

MCOL says the last thing that happened was my defences being submitted; I keep checking everyday to see if the DQ has been sent

Hi all, my claims were transferred to my home court in October, so I've just been waiting to hear from them.
Today I received an amended particulars of claim from DCB which I've attached below. Is this something that happens often or should I be worried?

I'm not sure unfortunately. This is all that was said to me in the email with the Particulars attached;

"We act for the Claimant in the above matter. Please find attached the Claimant's Amended Particulars of Claim. We can confirm that this has been filed with the Court"

I'm not sure unfortunately. This is all that was said to me in the email with the Particulars attached;

"We act for the Claimant in the above matter. Please find attached the Claimant's Amended Particulars of Claim. We can confirm that this has been filed with the Court"

But the new statement clearly says 'In accordance with the Court Order'...

...that you didn't receive a copy of, AND it will probably give you a deadline too, to file & serve an amended defence if you want to.

Obviously you need a copy of said Order from your local court, sharpish, and ask where the heck they sent your copy and have you missed anything else?

Thanks for catching that CP, I totally missed it.

I just rang my County Court and they said it was only filed a couple of days ago and it's been posted out to me, so I should receive it this week. If I don't, I'll ring them back.

Is this a recent thing you guys have come across with Highview/DCB? They seem to really be doing everything they can to get this money.
