You should start your own thread/discussion as trying to deal with more than one poster per thread can lead to confusion.
Thanks. How do I start a new thread?

On the front page of the parking forum, top left, is a big red drop down box, click on that and one of the options is "New Discussion" Click on that and away you go.

hello guys. just to let you know, ive had a response from my MP. she has asked for copies of all the pcn etc.

Also, i have sent this to info@dcblegal.co.uk:

    dear sir/madam,

I am writing to tell you that I am getting advice about my current financial difficulties from National Debtline.
Because of this, I would appreciate it if you could hold action on the above account for at least 30 days to give me the time and space I need to do a budget sheet and work out the best way to deal with my debts.
Also, if you are adding interest or other charges to the account, I would be grateful if you would freeze these during this period, so that my debt does not get any bigger.
I will contact you again as soon as I can with further details of my financial situation and my proposals for dealing with my debts.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Please send all correspondence directly to me.
    Yours faithfully

the location was callow court, chelmsford.
i have read, and re-read, most of the intro, newbies, and then read it again. its tricky. its like reading russian  :'(
the driver was dropping something off.

No GSV images since this one was taken in 2014, but you should aver that there were no entrance signs in 2018 anyway and put the claimant to strict proof that the contrary is true.

17 Seymour St - Google Maps

Even if you can't get a copy of the lease of the resident for which the driver was making a delivery, you should still quote primacy of contract. The resident no doubt had a right to park, and a right to quiet enjoyment, and a right to have items delivered.

A lease/tenancy agreement prohibiting delivery vehicles from parking would be unreasonable and an unfair contract term. You should therefore aver that the driver was acting as an agent of the resident and therefore had a demised right to stop in order to unload goods.
fruitcake thanks for your reply. can i ask you about the entrance signs? are they a necessary legal requirement then?

From the tone of your letter you sound like a very nice person. You must never forget these people are trying to extort money from you with their fakes.

These people are not your friends. PAP is a legal requirement and once you say you are seeking debt advice and you require a further 30 days, the legal must comply.

There is no reason why you would report back to them, if they wish to continue after the 60 days, they will contact you.

And as a reminder, there is no debt until the "fat lady sings" who is the judge

And DCBL well knows that there is no guarantee they will win. Their odds have dropped for them of late

And it's the job of your MP to advise government what is happening to their voters

Was your MP one of the party goers ????   You are not asking her for legal advice, you are asking her to complain and find out more and then report back to you.

You can only assume she does not want your vote in the future

Not sure why you said any of that (above) and National Debtline's advice about parking charges is hopeless (I read their article about this subject this week; it is shocking).

The above sounds like you think you owe money. oh dear.  You were not advised to say any of that, merely 'gimme a 30 day hold as I'm seeking debt advice'.

    This is awful:
I will contact you again as soon as I can with further details of my financial situation and my proposals for dealing with my debts.
What makes you think you have to send a known rogue industry any details of your financial situation and why are you acting as if you are expected to settle this as if it is a real/owed 'debt'?

As for your MP, this is not a legal matter yet and most MPs should be aware of the new Parking Code of Practice Act and that their colleagues DO actively assist constituents against unfair parking charges, by writing to landowners and the parking firm, to put to them why the charge seems unfair and to support your concerns.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

  • If you are going to send any more emails to anyone please come on here first for advice.

I mean this in the nicest possible way but stop bring nice.

This whole thing is a scam,  these people only want your money, they will not listen any stories  and you will probably be on the list as an easy target.   Toughen up and put your mean head on.

You must follow the step by step guide in the ' Newbies ',   you must follow the help and advice on this forum and above all else you must not pay.
