i do have some confusion about this. i have posted on another site and received zero response, but came across advice that a CPR 31.14 should be sent to dcbl. And that the ref number on the LBC should be used as the claim number.
no idea, sorry. would you advise against then.0 -
You could send it but the claimant aren't required to provide you with a copy of the landowner contract until the witness statement/exhibits stage, which would normally be two weeks before the hearing date.
I would not advise agreeing to pay any of the claimant's costs.
Please answer KeithP's question. He will be able to give you some useful dates to put in your diary.

31.1
(1) This Part sets out rules about the disclosure and inspection of documents.
(2) This Part applies to all claims except a claim on the small claims track.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yep, doesn't apply. The pre-action protocol has a similar effect though so you can ask, but only if you are PRE action. Have you got a court claim?
The other forum isn't the useless (in terms of posters' knowledge of parking cases) CAG is it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

i do not have a court claim. i have a letter before claim from dcbl. thank you for your reply keithP. the other website was legal beagles. not sure what i done wrong, but not a single reply over there. i found advice to send a CPR31.14 to dcbl. all very confusing. it is difficult, you guys live and breathe this stuff. there is so much to take in and one cannot be sure that what he is doing is fully correct, wether having read the newbies or not. i have read pages and pages of stuff, so as not to waste your time.
But its tricky to have the confidence to proceed without constantly badgering you.
apologies. and gratitude.1 -
Then for now , it's a SAR to the DPO at UKPC , plus a 30 days hold notice to Dcb legal
Then await your SAR reply , then a court claim pack from the CCBC in Northampton , in due course1 -
thanks redx. ive had SAR response. posted up, redacted.
ill get on to the 30 days notice now.1 -
Add in what you want to see if some evidence is missing.
You just cite the PAP for Debt claims (read it to understand what you can ask for) and not CPR 31.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

HELP. ADDRESS/EMAIL for UKPC to send my response to DCBL Letter Of Claim.
Hello all. I've followed the threads and acting on advice from here regarding a "Letter Of Claim" from DCBL on behalf of UKPC.
I've ignored all threats for four years now but I'm reading on here that the Letter Of Claim needs to be responded to. I've written my response but don't know where to send it. The LoC mentions UKPC but doesn't give their address (as it should) and I can't find it online. Nor can I find an email address for them. Please help as my 14 days is almost up after grinding away at the response letter.0 -
You should start your own thread/discussion as trying to deal with more than one poster per thread can lead to confusion.3
