Well Edinburgh won't fit. It will need to be a court in England or Wales.

But that's a long way off. I would concentrate on your Defence now before Uni distractions take hold.
  • Damn! That is so annoying. Oh well. Still find it strange how they resumed contacting me after 18 months of silence. I’m sure this forum will come in very handy in the coming months!

I am aware of other threads which cover this, and have read them extensively but I haven’t read of any which are similar to my case. In June, I parked in Milton Keynes Station in a car park run by Napier. Displayed was a ‘Weekend Deal’ which ran from Friday till Sunday for £10 - when attempting to purchase this, none of the machines worked. Myself and a friend tried multiple machines with card and cash with no luck. Although it worked for regular tickets, these were extortionate so we kept trying for the weekend deal. When this failed, we went to the reception desk in the train station, informed them where we were parked and were then given the £10 ticket which I put in my windscreen. Around 10 days later I received a penalty charge notice, stating that the ticket i was given was invalid in Napier’s car park. Since then, despite appealing, I have received countless emails from BW legal demanding £160 and threatening court proceedings. I have since then reiterated my arguments twice, stating that I was forced to find other means of obtaining a ticket as the machines simply weren’t functioning properly.
Just reminding everyone about the facts of your defence.  A concise version of this will feature in your facts paragraph 3 but not in the first person.  It's easy - see the Template Defence thread.

I will fit out the template defence - I haven’t yet looked at it, is it done on this forum so that it can be critiqued/ improved?

I am from Hertfordshire, and go to university in Edinburgh.
You use the template defence as the basis for your defence, only showing us the parts that you add or edit, then post it on the forum for critique; when you get the green light from us, you add the rest of the template in and send it by e-mail as per the advice in the template defence thread.
  • Hi all, just to clarify do I need to fill out any of the paper forms on the claim form response pack or can it all be done online? Thanks
