Damn! That is so annoying. Oh well. Still find it strange how they resumed contacting me after 18 months of silence. I’m sure this forum will come in very handy in the coming months!0

In June, I parked in Milton Keynes Station in a car park run by Napier. Displayed was a ‘Weekend Deal’ which ran from Friday till Sunday for £10 - when attempting to purchase this, none of the machines worked. Myself and a friend tried multiple machines with card and cash with no luck. Although it worked for regular tickets, these were extortionate so we kept trying for the weekend deal. When this failed, we went to the reception desk in the train station, informed them where we were parked and were then given the £10 ticket which I put in my windscreen. Around 10 days later I received a penalty charge notice, stating that the ticket i was given was invalid in Napier’s car park. Since then, despite appealing, I have received countless emails from BW legal demanding £160 and threatening court proceedings. I have since then reiterated my arguments twice, stating that I was forced to find other means of obtaining a ticket as the machines simply weren’t functioning properly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi all, been very busy recently so only just filed an AOS. Will begin drafting my defence soon, just wanted to ask what the deadline for this will be? I can't seem to find it on the MCOL website. Thanks0
