I know Tesco well. You could still get them to cancel, but what you do not want to do is talk to the checkout operators, floor staff or even customer dis-service. You need one or both of local store manager or CEO. Don't mess about in between. They may not help, but if they think you are a really good customer who will go elsewhere and advise family, friends, work colleagues, acquaintances and the family dog to do likewise, there is a good chance they will.

With a Letter before Claim, you need to send subject access request to the parking company, and a 30 day debt hold to the legal lot. DO NOT fill in and send their prying little forms.

It is all at the top of the second post in the Newbies

Anyway, I will just do the same process with this. Just about to do my SAR to Excel.
    Please do take care.

Not only did you throw us off track by mentioning VCS on a thread about UKPC, but now you are talking about sending a SAR to Excel - a third company.

OK, VCS and Excel share officers and premises, but they are two separate companies.

Yes, was my bad, getting them confused.

Hopefully I've got similar things to do for this case.

Do you think I should still start a new thread? For Excel and VCS issue?

    Hi all, looking for the latest guidance;

so my latest letter is from VCS, a chunky one this time LETTER BEFORE CLAIM.
It says they have no alternative but to commence legal proceedings, despite best efforts to recover payments.

Asks me to pay £170 within 30 days, and if not, legal proceedings will commence.

I have forms to fill in relating to court, boxes to tick, information about all the organisations I can contact for help. how I will pay, what my earnings are in 'Standard Financial Statement'.

As per coupon mads last suggestion, I can't locate the landowner, as it is many shops with a car park outside.
Specifically for tesco it's just always a few young staff on the tills and never a manager.

Any help on steps to take at this point appreciated!

VCS? This thread is about UKPC, a completely different parking company, but just as nasty, and a member of a completely different trade association.

If the LBC is for a different PCN, then you should start another thread as the advice will be different.

    Please clarify.

As for Tesco, have you complained to the CEO?

Yes, again, my bad, getting them confused.

To clarify - my LBC is from VCS, relating to a charge from Excel.

I've asked another member, but just in case, shall I continue with the SAR to Excel, and start a new thread?

    Thanks
