Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You added your reply right under my signature (under every post I make) that tells you where the breadcrumb trail to page one is and what it looks like and where to click (my sig is not the link itself).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hiya.
Its me again. Still being pestered by these leaches. After months of not hearing anything. I've now received this dribble through the post. CIS.Any thoughts on how I should proceed? What should my levels of concern be? Continue to ignore??0 -
You have left the "CIS Debt ID" ref showing!2

Ooooooer. 'Your details passed on to collections'. I wonder which scary person that might be. Someone sat at the next desk probably.
If you read the Newbies thread again you will see that is nothing more than a debt collectors letter which can be ignored and filed away.
Litigation, in the unlikely event the scammers are successful will not affect your credit rating unless you fail to comply with any adverse court judgment.
You may get more similar letters. Wait until you get a Letter Before Claim which will state you have 30 days before a court claim is issued. Only then do you need to come back for advice.3 -

Just reply 'return the case to your client as it is disputed and tell them to remove the fake £70 they never incurred'.
