Halifax Reward Account monthly payment.

On my tracker, I got message "You aren't on track to get your £5 cash offer" and in details it says "You need to pay a total of at least £1500 into your account this month. As of 5 December 2021, you've paid £0.00 into your account. You need to pay in at least £1500.00 more this month". 

I have two reward accounts and do internal transfer of £1500 between the two on the 5th of each month. Nov payment is fine (though I haven't received the reward yet. No monthly charge either) but in Dec, 5th is a Sunday so the payment is on 6th.  Today is the 7th but the tracker is still displaying the above message.

Is there any flaw in my setup? Do I need to do something about it?

    Check the effective date the tracker shows - it doesn't update immediately, so is dated before your qualifying transactions.

    ETA: Tracker is dated 05/12 today, the give away 'as of 5 Dec..'. :)

    You don't say when you made your payments, so it might just be a matter of being a bit more patient. I made similar payments into my accounts on Dec 1. These are reflected in the Dec 5 version of the tracker.

    It updates around every 3-4 days, last months reward hits the account around 12th of this month.
    I've actually spent £500 this month (well up to yesterday)  definitely, expecting it to show in the next couple of days. Just got to pass £1k through the account and this months sorted for the reward paid next month.

    Don't you have to pay in £1.5K/month? 
    Or have you already paid in £500 to cover the £500 spend you mention?

    I received a letter in October to say my reward was ending on 30 Nov so I renewed for another 12 months. However I have not received the £5 credit in December?
  • If you fulfilled all the criteria, your November £5 reward should have been paid about the 12th December. This would have been based on your old 12 month agreement and, I think, should not be affected by your renewal for the next 12 months.

    I have not received the £5 reward since October 2021.
     I maintain my balance at £5K (or just above) throughout the month and move £2.5K throught the account on the 1st of each month. I don't recall receiving any communication about the reward ending.
    Has there been a change to th the T&Cs that I've missed?
    Is there a way of messaging Halifax or is phoning the only way to contact them?

    I suspect you probably need to speak to someone after the BHs as I guess the full complement of staff won't be at work today.

    As far as I am aware the t&cs haven't changed at all. You haven't reached the end of a year have you? I had a message to say I needed to choose my reward & activate it for the coming 12 months
    Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Has your original reward period expired, and you haven't renewed it? Easy to check/rectify by pressing on "Add your Reward Extras".

    Thanks for the heads up. I don't remember any notification about the rewards expiring. I've reset it now. The confirmation eMail states this 
    "Keep on track

    Use the Reward Extras Tracker to check if you’re on course to get your offer each month. You can find the tracker under your account options in Online Banking and the mobile banking app."  

    so I probably need to do this as well to get future notifications
