Two of our 3 troublesome houseguests. One elderly girl (rescue) and the two boys shown here

My housemate is 20 now, a pure black, amber eyed, petite little girl, ( i think she has the Bombay breed in her DNA) now deaf but physically fit otherwise, brought home from a rescue centre at 8 months old and has lived in 5 star luxury ever since !

And again, she loves sunbathing !

Angelo (10) helping me not work. (Prince Angelo D'Spangelo of village where we live)
Daisy (10 months) being 'if I fits I sits'. (Princess Diva Daisy)
Bella (12) who is my cuddly lady. Dowager Duchess who sits on the back of the sofa watching the other twos shenanigans with distain.
Loving all the cats and their full Sunday names!

This awful housemate is Vera. Sometimes called catface or shouty kitten, she is entirely comfortable in expressing her needs and desires in no uncertain terms. She isn't quite a rescue, but was a member of the third "surprise" litter in a year for a household. (I mean, what did you expect to happen if you don't neuter!?) She most delights in disdaining to use the luxury toys, beds, warm blankets and posh treats I buy, preferring puddle water and cardboard boxes.

A bit of back story behind my 2.
On the left we have Kibble (aka Queen Kibbs or Stush Cat) and her son Caboose (aka Boosey or STOP CHEWING THAT !!!!!! WIRE!)
Got them from a rescue centre in late October. The were found in a feral colony and sent to a local rescue centre. Although Kibble had had limited human contact beforehand she seemed to be more approachable than most so they put a shout out for prospective man servants.
They currently rule the living room but are slowly expanding their empire to the top of the stairs and then beyond...
I'm loving this thread being unfortunately unable to have a furry overlord at present. These photo's and 'origins' stories are just fantastic. Long may it continue.
Isn't it amazing how cat servants always find the threads about cats, wherever they may be on the site and whatever name the threads are given?

We had a rescue cat just like him. We loved the gorgeous almost rust coloured ruff. His name was Murphy, his nickname was “Murphybear” hence my username.fromdusktilldawn said:fMy rescue cat, Monty, most definitely in charge.
