I feel left out, don’t have any cats 😂2

Our new housemate only moves in a month ago. Totally rules the house already though!

I've a mature tuxedo.
I purchased a lovely home and she now owns it, same as the 3 seater sofa, the bed and anything else she sticks a paw on.
She's just woke herself up snoring and thought I woke her, I'm now in trouble.
She's trained me well to put the right food down, when told, and clearing up after her 'deposits'.
If I dare go into the kitchen, or any other room, before she's full, I'm herded back to feed her.
She gets fresh meat as treats each day, enjoys a bit of t-bone and knows when that comes in the flat; can't sneak food in as she knows!
Even though she gets pocket money, I'm expected to spend all of mine on her.
I get it easy compared to my OH, he gets shouted at and has to share his dinner 😺Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -
What a lovely thread! We have our own houseguest who rules us. We found her on the roadside as a tiny kit and took her home. That was 12 years ago. We are now thoroughly trained. Her name is Pashmina Ballerina Peabody the First and we love her to pieces although she doesn't like to be cuddled, hugged or touched unless we approach her from the front and ask her first.

We don't know much about our boss cat. She was found under floorboards in a house and spent 2 years in a rescue/foster. I am posting this at 5am because I've just been poked awake for food!

She’s lovely especially the eyes, one yellow and one blue. I love the name as well, does she have an “everyday” name?MalMonroe said:What a lovely thread! We have our own houseguest who rules us. This is Holly McNoggin, and he is a git.
We first met him when he started hanging around the back garden, very friendly but didn't seem to have an owner. We checked for a microchip, advertised on lost pet sites, social media locally, put up posters... all that... but still nobody claimed him.
Initially we were at a loss; neither of us is a "cats person", but either we took him in or left him to his own devices. It was November, and it would have meant chucking him out into the cold and wet - and that wasn't going to happen.
Long story short, he's accompanied us through several house moves, and six years later he's with us in Yorkshire, where he thoroughly enjoys himself murdering, pillaging, purring loudly and sleeping by day.

I don't have a cat, but I do like cats. This is a nice discussion, therefore. Keep 'em coming!3
