Hi Julicorn, I asked to be included but as I posted in this year's thread we have now paid off the mortgage completely so no 95 is up for grabs. Thank you PorridgecatMortgage Free 23 December 2020

            Hi Julicorn
#57 reporting in for 2022. I am happy to keep that number.
At the end of 2021 my Mortgage Neutral (MN) pot was £31.9K and my mortgage balance was £86.4K. Giving a deficit/net-debt of £54.5K.
For 2022 - my target will be deposits and growth in my MN Pension pot of £36K. This sum not counting my monthly mortgage payments. In combination this will see me very close to having a dedicated pot equivalent to my mortgage balance by the end of the year. I will report monthly on my 2022 contributions to the MN Pot (my OPs as it were)
Current target for Mortgage Neutral is Feb-23 with a real squeeze and a bit of luck and ongoing Covid caution keeping my spends low it could be 2022.
Thanks

            #62 here requesting a place for 2022.
Setting myself a target of £4,500 to be added to our mortgage neutral pot.
Happy with a new number if it tidies the spreadsheet up.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......1 -
#53 reporting! Thank you for keeping my space for 2022
The balance of my mortgage today is £3,000 on the nose so that will be my target for 2022. I would love to be able to be MF by my birthday in April, but that would be a push! Today we are doing a freezer and cupboard audit to help save a few quid for the target.
Happy, healthy 2022 to you all
