If it's decent jewellery try Hatton Garden metals. They were recommended to me by someone else on this site and I was given a good price for a few things that I wanted rid of.3

Thank @CRANKY40, I ordered a prepaid bag from Hatton Garden Metals today. I brought out the kitchen scales and weight an old 18ct ring I have.... I was floored at how much I could get for it, even at scrap value!!! So needless to say I ll be sending off a few bits. Quite excited to see if what they might be worth even if it is a few quid. All going towards the debt.
@savingholmes, thanks for your comment, all the trials we face eventually makes us stronger I think.
Today has been a mixed bag. I worked my usual 8,30 to 5 and as it is a bank holiday I get time and a third so wee bonus in paycheck coming in February. Dinner was Christmas left overs and took the grand total of three minutes to put together, so nil spend. I had to buy one child a new jacket and two new pair of school trousers which cost £60. I also had to fight the urge to book a holiday for December 2022 which would have cost £800. It is those kind of impulse spends that have got me into the trouble I am in financially. Before I hit the pay button, an alarm went off in my head and screamed what you doing you muppet and I stopped and had the biggest epiphany. No holiday booked. After dinner, I walked to the shop for milk with the wee one on her bike and the dog, stopping at every lamp post to !!!!!! his leg and pee. By lamp post 15 I was thinking surely there can be no pee left? I upcycled some old coat hooks that were in the garage with some black paint and a bit of elbow grease. They looked pretty decent so I put them up for sale online for £15. Hopefully someone might buy them. Productive day and now truly ready for bed and working another public holiday tomorrow.debt free £17653.02/ £17653.02, 100% repaid on 31 May 2022, debt free date 25 Dec 20225 -

Thank you @Honeysucklelou2. The urge to book the holiday has totally passed and today I would have regretted it wholeheartedly. Those kind of impulsive spends are what causes me so many problems.

Another work day away, children away with their dad for dinner tonight so dog and I are just back from a walk round the local area, approx 2 miles. My legs are sore and I am certain I will sleep well tonight for my efforts. Only spend of the day was £1.20 for a coffee at the work cafe. Car still looking good on the diesel front and the fridge is still well stocked, even after my brother came round and raided it for left overs today. For dinner I had toast and pate, something quite delightful about only cooking for yourself. A very normal day with minimum expenditure!debt free £17653.02/ £17653.02, 100% repaid on 31 May 2022, debt free date 25 Dec 20223

Well done on the loan payment and on resisting the holiday. It's those two things together that will make the difference - throwing what you can at the debt and avoiding unnecessary spend.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
