I’ve read your diary and have to say it’s very inspiring, 👏 well done on the outstanding progress so far and good luck on the last part of your debt free journey, also good luck on stopping vaping my husband did the same thing just stopped one day and weirdly he’s never missed it since, for your holiday I recommend sweets for the little one with wrappers on like fruit Ella’s or opal fruits takes little fingers ages to unwrap them keeping them occupied for a little while xPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

Thank you both for the kind words of support - Still going well and coming up to the 72-hour mark now. Keeping the coffee going in and keeping distracted seems to be working for now!
PAD of £2.50 to CC1 today.

Oh yes, all very true and this last night shift was quite difficult as things were generally quiet towards the end. Woke up today feeling the 'need' for nicotine, I really do wish it would subside but I'm fully aware it's just the start of a long journey. Currently just short of 90 hours with no nicotine, not that I'm counting.LittleMissDetermined said:If what you say is true, you’re now in the tricky period so keep yourself distracted. Good luck!

I gave up smoking in June last year but still have the occasional nicorette lozenge to help with cravings. Beware, there are 2 strengths, I have always been on the lower one!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j1

Thank you for letting me know, I didn't know about the different strengths at all so I will bear this in mind if I revert to them.MatyMoo said:I gave up smoking in June last year but still have the occasional nicorette lozenge to help with cravings. Still going, had a few mood swings today and cravings after what felt like a good morning, which is a shame. Hopefully it's a sign things will get better ..

Thank you for the words of encouragement, I definitely had a slightly less erratic day today however was treated for a nice day out and a meal by the other half which definitely helped! Being stuck at home generally does not!LittleMissDetermined said:Hope the moods pass, keep at it, you can do this!!
