Parking Notice Excel Parking

Has anybody had a run-in with the parking firm Excel Parking? I received out of the blue a parking notice (PCN) notice to keeper (NTK) from the Three Spires Shopping Centre in Lichfield, I know for a fact that I paid the required £1.00 for the hours stay when I paid I noticed they had yet again changed the ticket machine to one that didn't issue tickets and photographs your car on entry and exit when I paid it stated that it did not issue a ticket that I had paid. They have sent me this notice asking for a £100 for none payment which is not true as I had paid with a reduction to £60 within 14 days... this is so wrong how can I fight it I realize now I should have photographed the ticket machine on payment it's a total scam!! help???

Hi, read the NEWBIES thread and any other Excel threads.Maybe a typo with your VRM so require them to check.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Excel are well known on this forum, and make up a large proportion of the millions of PCNs issued to motorists every year.
What happened when you complained to the landowner/retail park manager?
Start by reading the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES that was just underneath the main forum heading and asks everyone to read if first, then send the appeal template in blue text you will find there. Send it unaltered, from The Keeper.
If possible, then go back (on foot) and take photos of the site and signage, including the PDT machines and signage.

The site appears to be spread out with a number of car separate parks. You need to find the/a route in to where the car was parked that shows how signs could have been missed because they were obscured, damaged, facing away from the direction of traffic, hidden round corners etcetera.
Google Streetview (GSV) shows at least one sign completely flared out and unreadable due to sunlight as well as being tucked out of site on the left as a driver would turn right to find a parking space.I married my cousin. Thanks, I will take a look, I will be appealing the fine first! cheers.2

It's not a fine and you can't win an appeal v Excel. You need to read more threads first.
We are not saying to pay it, BTW.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is not a fine.
You will not win at the initial appeal stage.
You might win at IAS appeal stage if you are one of the lucky 4% who do. Most likely you will win at court stage if you do your research first, but that is way off for now.
You must complain to the landowner, and your MP.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -
If you live in Lichfield write to Michael Fabricant MP. If not write to your own MP and ask them to forward a copy to MF. He will only respond to his own constituents. I would avoid Excel's car parks like the plague. There are other car parks nearby.
Note that there is also a petition to remove Excel and revert back to the LA.
