Unfortunately the only way of getting a decent CS rep is to go through the account setting , ideally you need to talk to Dublin. This is the reality of big tech. A faceless machine that just randomly stomps on us without a thought. No meaningful explanation, nobody to even speak to, just computer says no.

I'd suggest Tweeting them. Something along the lines of "According to internet/Twitter searches the suspension of my exemplary account appears to be an error on your part. Can someone help resolve this?" @askebay is the Twitter account you want.soolin said:

It looks like it's quite widespread. Not the first time Ebay have had a major glitch. The timing's astounding, you have to wonder if it's a glitch, a disgruntled employee or a hack.

Not at all, good to know I am not alone! To start with I thought it was just me but now I see it is a lot of people it makes me think something has gone wrong somewhere, of course, that isn’t to say eBay will do anything to rectify it…Mortgage free!

My account was also reinstated as of 04:45 this morning.
There has clearly been a glitch.
