Thanks both for the reassurance & for the link to the Property Managers, I've been trying the retailers (none of which gave guidance to the Property Managers) & I had missed this obvious Abbeywood Website route so will contact them tomorrow & will advise.
Thanks again.0 -

Hi all,
Thanks again all for your support.
As an update, further to the support given by this Forum I contacted Knight Frank by phone on Thursday 20.01.22 & was immediately & professionally given the contact details for the person responsible for this Shopping Park.
I spoke with the Knight Frank Associate Director FM South West who listened to my request & provided an e-mail address so I could forward specific PCN details, I provided all relevant details & was hopeful Plan A (cancellation of PCN) would follow however was advised on Friday 21.01.22 "I have reviewed this info etc. and not exactly sure what you want me to do as the car is clearly not parked within the bay marking. I am guessing that the other cars would have also received parking notices for the same issue. On this occasion I am unable to assist you"
I have sent 2 further e-mails to Knight Frank (Friday 21.01.22 & Tuesday 25.01.22) requesting reconsideration to support a regular customer who made a genuine mistake (rather than intentional overstay or parking breach) & to highlight a £170 fee for a parking error of less than 1m was unreasonable, I also mentioned it is likely the other customers who would have received PCN's would be similarly unhappy.
I have asked if Knight Frank as a company supported the unpleasant & unwelcomed communication from UKCPS to customers, unfortunately I have received no further response so can only assume the actions of UKCPS are indeed condoned by Frank Knight & that UKCPS are fully supported by Knight Frank as Property Managers.
I will update when there is further correspondence but sadly please be aware Knight Frank also appear not to care about regular Customers who make genuine parking errors, even when they are not unsafe & are unlikely to have caused any significant tangible loss to them as the operators.2 -
Hi all.
I have now received further correspondence from Debt Recovery Plus advising the previous lack of response had been treated as an oversight however if I do not respond in 7 Days it will be treated as an active choice.
The envelope has progressed from "Don't Delay. Sort it Today" to "Don't Ignore. It could cost you more" the letter repeated the previous advice (threats) as per my post on 18.01.22 & stated "You owe £170".
I now have clarity I am unable to make progress with 'Plan A' (cancellation by the land owner) so Plan B is my only choice as I have missed all opportunities to pointlessly appeal.
Apologies for requesting further advice but is there anything else I need to do at this stage which would support my case should this progress to legal action, if so what should I record or do?
Many thanks in advance for all guidance & support given, at this stage I believe I just need to wait for a Formal Court Letter, if ever received.

Many thanks in advance for all guidance & support given, at this stage I believe I just need to wait for a Formal Court Letter, if ever received.Continue in ignore mode as far as DRP are concerned. Only come back in the extremely unlikely event of UKCPS (or their solicitors) issuing a Letter of Claim or you receiving a formal court claim from the Northampton CCBC. UKCPS haven't been anywhere near a court hearing for a good couple of years, or more. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Many thanks Umkomaas, really appreciate the reply & support, I'll do exactly that as it's good to hear UKCPS haven't been anywhere near a court hearing for a good couple of years, or more

Pathetic!
You know added £70 'costs' add-ons have been banned by the Government, a month ago in the new parking Code of Practice?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
