Purple bricks keep saying they haven't spoken to PPL directly when I chase. Would like an update if case is being worked on. The agent keeps saying we are near the end when I know that's not true.Thrugelmir said:What's the issue?0 -
When technology fails the consequences are severe. Creates weeks if not months of backlog. Though PPL can obviously halt taking new instructions until such time as matters resolve themselves. Another big minus of working from home.....MaiTai said:worriedseller2022 said:I don't want to talk to them directly. I want to give them a nudge into updating my agent and my solicitor. No, I can't speak to my buyer directly to do this.
It’s one hell of a mess and I can’t begin to speculate how long it will take for the situation to return to acceptable service levels.0 -
They are still taking new business apparently. Disgusting...Thrugelmir said:

PPL are inundated with clients/EAs/Solicitors requesting updates, but due to the cyber attack recently, PPL need to get their system up and running and the backlog to be dealt with as a priority first. You are not their client so please do not contact them.0 -
Purplebricks are not proactive.
You will need to get them to contact your buyer or contact directly via the app.
The buyer's solicitor will likely ignore you as you are not their client.1 -
I would not expect anything from Purple bricks, you got what you paid for. I would not use them for buying or selling from my own interactions with them"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

And "I would be !!!!!!" If I had to repeatedly tell a client no because they won't listen.Snookie12cat said:

I don't understand how in conveyancing, no, is seen as optional and time to turn to the likes of this forum to complain how unfair they are being treated when the same has applied to millions before them.
The self entitlement is absurd.2 -
From a selling perspective really good. Didn't lie to me like other high street agentscsgohan4 said:I would not expect anything from Purple bricks, you got what you paid for. I would not use them for buying or selling from my own interactions with them0
