Was just about to state the same. I don't understand why the issue has not been resolved?
Incompetence. If a Government website had this flaw Martin Lewis would be his 'shouty' usual self about it.
It's hardly up there as an issue with inflation or energy proce rises.
Neither of which he has provided solutions for...a bit like NO SOLUTION to this websites ongoing problems.

I'm struggling to see the reasoning. You know that ML sold his stake in MSE and has had no input in the day-to-day running of this website since 2012, right?
He is the Company founder, Chairman and it's his photograph at the top left.

To be honest most chairman don't have any responsibility for day to day running, the bulk of their input is the direction of the project as a whole from a strategic point of view.  They're not going to really be all that fussed that a website forum has an occasional issue where the "last post date" for a few sub forums is out of whack.  Its relatively minor in the grand scale of things.

And government websites do not run forums, so its not a valid comparison.  A government running web forums for government policy/direction is just asking for trouble.  Twitter is the new modern day forum, for all the toxic goodness that is.

The presence of Mr Lewis's photograph means nothing other than he is the founder of the website and it is still marketed as "his" site, even though he sold it back in 2012..  I'd go so far as to say articles contributed by him (where appropriate) are effectively the equivalent of freelance/guest journalists.

Problem still occurs from time to time.

Just a few moments ago I saw...

Today does seem to be particularly bad.  Rather than one date posts seem to be completely random with July, November, December and January popping up.  Not a very good advert for the software providers and maintainers - previously sacked by TSB maybe ?? :o

    Thanks for your feedback @sarah1972.

Just a bit disappointing that as a result of this flaw, one has to actually go into a board to find out if there have been any updates.

And for amusement, fascinating to note that a few moments ago we were seeing that the latest post on this very Site Feedback board was not yours, but one from November...

Indeed, it’s not ideal for us ambassadors too having to go into each of our boards either. Fingers crossed the techies get a fix soon. X

  • This problem has been going on for well over a year and still no fix, utterly useless.
It's a good job this forum is free, as nobody would pay for it.
